We had lunch in a welcoming environment with friendly and brilliant girls serving tables. Excellent food in large dishes at a fair price. We left the highway because we were practically stuck. We found the tavern by chance and ate happily.

Quick stop unfortunately only for a quick first course.
Very typical place, rustic and family atmosphere.
We tried many different first courses, all good.
I recommend stopping.

The first night, the burger was excellent, with homemade ground beef, and fast service. The best.
But the second night, the burgers were made from industrial ground beef, and the service was extremely slow... a shame.

Due to the intense traffic returning from the spring long weekends, the navigator forced us to exit at Faenza and then return to Imola by skipping the queue, it was lunch time, and so we found ourselves by chance in Solarolo, home of Laura Pausini, eating in this place. Upon entering we immediately noticed the many cheerful people and the abundance of portions. We ate very well and at very reasonable prices. As a starter, the bruschetta with lard, burrata, tomato and pesto from the offer of the day is really good and as first courses the saffron risotto is decent and the crescents filled with ricotta and many spring scents are very good. The environment is a bit like that of the Romagna of the past, on the one hand it absolutely needs to be preserved, on the other it wouldn't be bad to renovate it and make it more modern. A special mention for the gentleman, perhaps the owner, who was dozing in a closet behind the beautiful circular bar counter. Thanks to the kitchen and the dining room staff who welcomed us a few minutes before closing the kitchen. In short, a place that has the sincere soul of Romagna, its generosity and all its flavour.

Avevo smesso per un po' di andarci a causa dell'eccessivo affollamento e confusione a pranzo e anche perchè pur prenotando ogni volta si doveva attendere che si liberasse un tavolo e questo non va bene. Andandoci di sabato invece non abbiamo trovato la solita ressa di operai chiassosi e c'erano anche alcuni tavoli liberi. Optando per il menù del giorno siamo stati serviti nel giro di pochissimo tempo, circa 30 secondi per avere il primo e meno di un minuto per i secondi. Ci si aspetta quindi che trovando piatti già pronti la qualità e la cottura non siano ottimali e invece andava tutto bene, buoni sia gli uni che gli altri. Peccato solo che che dal menù fossero stati depennati diversi piatti e la scelta fosse ridotta del 50%.
Conto come sempre onestissimo. Pienamente soddisfatti.
