Great staff and the food is delicious, the meat is buttery soft

So, well 😅 we got our food incredibly fast 🤯 and the steak (veal) was simply wow, so tender and delicious. They catered to every request, top service, top food, we'll definitely be back, and I can already recommend this place to everyone who wants to satisfy their meat cravings 😆💪🏻🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🤤 Oh, and dessert was also ready very quickly and just as delicious 👐 Thank you so much and see you next time! We had a very good meal, brought by a friend from Bolzano. A quaint place for both food and drinks.

The food was amazing, the service was amazing! Bud Spencer and Terence Hill are alive here! Update 2025: We were in Algund again, and what's a must-visit? The Untergandlkeller! Every Bud & Terence fan is thrilled even before entering the restaurant. Inside, everything is lovingly decorated with Bud and Terence. Our usual spot is in the conservatory, as it looks like a crooked shack straight out of "They Call Me Trinity"! Simply fantastic. For starters, I devoured the classic "Even Angels Eat Beans" – the beans with bacon tasted heavenly! For the main course, I ordered the Bud Spencer Steak, "the size of a hippo's rear end," which had a fantastic meat flavor. It was rare, just as I ordered it, and truly a delight! For guests who can't read or don't understand what "marbled" means, they shouldn't complain about the fat afterward. But for everyone else who enjoys a piece of beef with seared fat that melts in your mouth, the Bud Spencer Steak is exactly what you're looking for! The entire team at Untergandlkeller is absolutely fantastic, just like 5 years ago! Hope we can make it back again next year! Unfortunately, only three stars. The pork wasn't cooked through; it was still raw inside. At least the very attentive and extremely friendly server (I suspect the head server) noticed and intervened. This shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this price range. Serving food over a guest or even reaching over a plate that was being eaten from is unacceptable. My spare ribs were excellent, but the prices for extra garlic sauce were almost outrageous, especially since it didn't taste homemade. The dessert was also quite expensive. Tasty, but for those prices, I would expect homemade vanilla sauce, not a pre-made product. All in all, it was a pleasant evening, which could easily have earned five stars with a few extra touches.

I was looking for a classic local spot, a sort of cabin, and I can say I hit the nail on the head. It's a large place centered around Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, as they're members of the fan club, and has ample parking. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and you can enjoy many delicacies, including typical Tyrolean dishes, of course. We were very satisfied; we couldn't have made a better choice. I highly recommend trying their dishes; you won't regret it. Prices are reasonable!
