It was a challenge, choosing the right restaurant for our only night in Livorno. We really wanted seafood and narrowed it down to this beautiful little restaurant. The quality of the food was perfect and fresh. I did notice the two lovely ladies on the table next to us had a beautiful ribeye on the bone steak cooked perfectly also. We always ask for the house wine and it did not disappoint. This is a lovely little restaurant With lovely staff. I can highly recommend this for a true simple dining experience.

Unfortunately, I don't agree with the reviews. The food was certainly fresh, but it was prepared in a way that was too adventurous in my opinion. I can't say I had a bad experience, but it wasn't what I was looking for.

First of all, everything was fine and good. They even gave us a free appetizer from the restaurant (the picture with the three baguette slices). The ambiance and the steaks were really good, if a bit pricey. The staff was friendly.
I wasn't so pleased that we had to pay €4 per person for the table (€12 for three people), which was the only time we did this on vacation, and that the tip (€5 for the tip) was automatically added to the bill.
I always like to tip (I gave one this time too), but only as much as I think is appropriate.

Consigliato dal personale dell’hotel dove si alloggiava,questo piccolo ristorante nascosto tra le vie del lungomare di Livorno è stato davvero un’ottima scelta: simpatia,gentilezza e piatti davvero ottimi con un prezzo corretto,complimenti….!
