These days, checking Maps reviews while traveling is a must. So I did this morning to find something for lunch near Castelpetroso. I found this place, read the reviews, set the GPS, and arrived on a nearly lost street where this bar was located.
I went in. I thought I'd made a mistake and been fooled, but I was wrong.
I ordered a first course of fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffle: bam! The huge dish arrived delicious. Top! Homemade cuisine, as if cooked at home.
Anyway, leaving aside a few small details, I can say I really enjoyed it.

PORCINI MUSHROOMS ARE EXCELLENT AS IF THERE'S NO TOMORROW.
Extremely friendly staff and a fabulous chef.
It's a place in the middle of nowhere, but don't let that put you off, it's definitely worth it.

A simple place but with a lot of personality in the dishes. Truffles reign supreme, the staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. I recommend it!

LOCATION:
It's a bar on an internal street; from the outside, it's hard to tell if you can eat there.
A typical 90s atmosphere with locals reading the paper. We happened upon it during a Sinner final, and there was a friendly, cheering atmosphere.
MENU:
Various options.
We had two delicious tagliolini with truffles.
SERVICE:
The owner was very kind, and the girl who served us was also courteous and professional.
BILL:
Low, but fair considering the location.
Highly recommended for a quick lunch or dinner.

A place that, in addition to bar service, also offers delicious and reasonably priced first and second courses. We ordered tagliatelle with black truffle, cavatelli with wild boar ragù, and gnocchi with tomato sauce, all three truly excellent! The place is really clean, even the bathrooms. The staff is very friendly.
