UMĀMI Japanese Fusion Restaurant In Caserta

Serata bellissima in famiglia. Ci siamo divertiti, ci hanno coccolati e siamo stati davvero bene. Da provare assolutamente i gamberi in tempura con mandorle, ma il consiglio è di farsi guidare dal personale che certamente saprà dare ottime indicazioni. Perfetto in tutto Lo consiglio certamente. Prezzi in linea con il prodotto offerto

We had lunch at UMĀMI with my girlfriend. She wanted to please me by testing a high-end sushi address with me. The restaurant is very charming, very quiet, very cozy. I was charmed by the decor. The server was great, very attentive, very professional, very dynamic. We opted for the 40 pieces of surprise sushi made and chosen by the chef. We were amazed by the choice of sushi made by the chef. Our large plate of sushi arrived, very very pretty plate full of sushi with lots of flavors and colors. We already had lots of stars in our eyes. There were quite a few sushi that we would never have thought to choose, we were pleasantly surprised. We really liked the sushi, some more than others. The sushi is super pretty, well made, impressive quality. The quality of the raw salmon and tuna is excellent, thick slices full of flavor! They melt in the mouth. The sea bream sushi is delicious. All the sushi are elaborate, full of flavors in the mouth, a mixture of ingredients bringing a beautiful harmony. We are delighted as much by the visual as by the taste. However, I would like to point out that the prices are very high although the quality is there. It nevertheless remains a very nice culinary experience, we really enjoyed lunch at UMĀMI. UMĀMI is undoubtedly one of the best sushi places I have tried anywhere in the world.

I went to umami this evening with my girlfriend, a restaurant where I had already been at the end of August and had a great time. The place is in Corso Trieste, in the city center, well-furnished, small, welcoming, with kind staff and an elegant atmosphere. We ordered two glasses of Chardonnay (very good), a trio of tartare, a 20-piece set and two Nutella cheesecakes. Everything was truly perfect, good wine, exceptional sashimi, sushi, let's not even talk about it, very fresh tartare and also very good dessert, unlike many sushi restaurants. The sore point was the service, in the sense that the staff is helpful and kind but the times were biblical (and I'm talking about our case because I saw that the tables next to ours were taken care of very quickly). We arrived at 9 pm and the trio of tartare arrived exactly 50 minutes after we ordered. We waited another 35 minutes to get sushi and by the time we had dessert it was 11pm. Obviously spending two hours in this restaurant is nothing but a pleasure but you can understand that waiting so long between one dish and another is not very pleasant. In any case I don't feel like giving less than 5 stars because I'm sure this thing happened only to us and only tonight, and since we had a really good time I don't want to penalize a restaurant that really deserves it. If you are looking for sushi à la carte in Caserta and the province I wouldn't think twice about booking here (and I recommend booking because it is very popular). I hope to return soon.
