Beautiful place, excellent service, very good pizza (even if small)

A small pizzeria in an alley behind the castle. The pizza is delicious, made with dark wheat.

I'll be long-winded, but it's a must. When I see long lines, no matter how long the wait, I dive in, because it's always a sign of quality...and yesterday at this pizzeria I had further confirmation of this. As a Neapolitan and a pizza eater, this version of Cilento dough with buckwheat was a wonderful discovery. The two of us ate three pizzas: mixed ortolana, margherita with spicy salami, and the 4-cheese Cilento pizza. The margherita was simple but good, the salami added just the right amount of flavor...tasty and not at all greasy. The ortolana pizza took me back to the past, when my grandparents grew vegetables in the garden, flavorful, wholesome vegetables, where each one had its own distinct flavor. But the honors go to the 4-cheese Cilento pizza, where the goat cheese hits you with the first bite...then giving way to the flavors of the more delicate cheeses. I'll definitely be back to try other pizzas I saw and found intriguing. If you're in Agropoli, stopping by this pizzeria is a must.

Very nice location and very good pizza

Exceptional pizzeria in Agropoli. You can't reserve; you order your pizza, take a number, and wait. A waiter seats you at these large wooden tables with benches where you all eat together, and then the waitress calls your numbers and brings the pre-sliced pizzas to your table in wicker baskets. The pizzas are made with quality Cilento ingredients, and the recipes are delicious and mouthwatering!! A wonderful experience, one to repeat. One of the best pizzas I've ever had, at a truly bargain price!

Absolutely fantastic! It's definitely worth the wait to eat pizza like this, in the heart of the old town of Agropoli, a mix of atmosphere and sophistication.

Da decenni sempre gradevole esperienza.. rustica contadina e simpatica.. pizze buone di sapore e digeribili....prezzo economico...da visitare

Locale che si sviluppa su una scalinata, un po’ nascosto. Purtroppo i tavoli nella piazzetta principale erano pieni e quindi abbiamo mangiato sotto la scalinata, in una zona non troppo illuminata. Pizza ottima, deve essere ordinata sul posto alla cassa e viene servita poi al tavolo già tagliata in tranci (4 pezzi per ciascuna pizza) Abbiamo ordinato 2 pizze, un acqua e una birra blanche da 33 cl Totale spesa: 19 euro
