A small family-run restaurant just steps from the beach, U Paninu offers an excellent lunch break with typical Sicilian specialties. The salads are delicious, plentiful and fresh, the arancini and the “original” are also excellent.
The prices are very fair and the environment is simple, authentic and not touristy. The owner is kind and helpful. A pleasant stop for those looking for local flavors in a quiet setting.

We stopped one day for lunch, coming up from the beach, and having noticed a lot of people having lunch, we wanted to try.... the owner immediately welcomed us with a smile and greeting, inside a large selection of sandwiches, typical dishes, fried food, everything rigorously clean and nice looking. The service is fast, the dishes are excellent!!!! And the prices are really competitive.
If you are at the beach try the place, it has everything, very good, and at a good price.

U Paninu – Dream sandwiches in San Vito Lo Capo!
If you are in the area, don't miss U Paninu: a true gem for Sicilian street food lovers! The sandwiches are exceptional, prepared with the freshest ingredients and super tasty combinations. We tried the cunzato bread and a sandwich with panelle, onions and aubergines: both spectacular!
Any advice? Get advice from the owner: he is friendly, helpful and will be able to suggest the perfect sandwich based on your tastes.
