The thing that impressed me the most is how many customers were already known to the waiters, a sign that those who have already been there often return. Surely, after yesterday's dinner, I would also return as soon as possible.
Friendly and punctual service, right suggestion on culurgiones without sauce so you can eat them even without tomato, exceptional Sardinian gnocchi with sauce, as well as the seadas. The cost is reasonable, the outdoor tables are divine, constant breeze.

Very simple but welcoming place, with traditional dishes. The staff is kind and helpful.
We recommend asking for a table in the air-conditioned area, especially on warmer evenings.
The porceddu must be booked in advance and is served only after 9:00 pm.
Overall, a recommended place for those looking for typical cuisine without too many frills.

We had dinner for 4, taking 1 dish each, 2 fregola with sausage, 1 tuna... 1 ravioli and 1 seadas.... the fregola was good and also the seadas.... wine and water.... cost 108 euros

An authentic Sardinian dinner and what service!!! We highly recommend eating here because sometimes you only find pizza or pasta options on the island but this place has Sardinian food that goes beyond that!!!! It's worth it

We went to this restaurant during our holidays in La Maddalena. Excellent food, we had culurgiones stuffed with excellent fresh sauce. For second course we had a sliced beef, the meat was tasty. The staff was very kind.

Our family of four (with two teenagers) dined here two nights ago (on a Wednesday evening) with orders of house red wine, a variety of pasta and meat dishes, and the Oreo dessert at the end. Please go earlier than 8 PM if you do not have reservations or better yet, make your reservations, especially with a party of more than 4 people, from what we witnessed. We didn't have reservations and it seemed a little difficult to seat us as there were only two waitstaff and the Manager assisting. Perhaps they based staffing that weeknight on the number of reservations? Anyway, the food was good and worth a visit. Picky eaters won't find much on the menu to select from. Few spots for street parking, but a relatively easy (slightly uphill) walk from the city center.

Not knowing where to eat dinner in La Maddalena, and being reluctant to end up in the usual tourist menu / tourist place in the port, we consulted Tripadvisor and were attracted by this place which - for a change - offered meat dishes instead of the orthodox fish-calamari-vongole dishes... Top choice ! The "culurgiones" (a Sardinian pasta) was swimming in the best home made tomato sauce we have had in long time; the meat dishes consisted of a wide choice of "tagliata" which we found unexpectedly good. Last but not least, the home made "tiramisù" was sublime. Hosts Sandro & Silvia were extremely friendly and agreeable, as was the dessert-chef (I forgot the name). Definitely best to make a reservation ! No doubt we'll come back !
