I went with my husband and my 5 year old son for a day at the seaside, as far as the restaurant is concerned, nothing to say.... fast and attentive service, the owner made sure to have my son's lunch arrive while we were there. deciding ours, raw materials of excellent quality and expertly cooked. Dry fried food and tender calamari, gnocco with scampi and cherry tomatoes, delicate but tasty.... a refined and tastefully furnished environment. Unfortunately the discordant note concerns the beach service... new umbrella and sunbeds yes, but there is no real chalet, as I know you would expect for a day at the beach. Bar practically non-existent, apart from some packaged ice cream and there is no area dedicated to those who are on the beach, there are no alternatives to the restaurant. No pizzas, sandwiches, chips etc. no table perhaps in the shade of a nice gazebo near a bar corner... RESTAURANT ONLY. It seems that the beach is just an additional service to the restaurant, while I think the opposite is more appropriate. I would advise the owner to also pay attention to the swimmers because they still pay to stay on the beach. I add the note for the owner's response: I understand the difficulty between erosion and laws, but in the meantime it would be enough to reserve a small area of ​​the existing space with tables and chairs for bathers and increase the bar service with simple things, as already written above, such as chips sandwiches, croissants in the morning.... for customers it is an additional service that they can also use in the afternoon, consuming a drink etc... it is an extra profit for you I think. Di passaggio a Porto Sant'Egidio abbiamo scelto questa trattoria in bella posizione in riva al mare. Un menù di pesce tradizionale, buono e gustoso accompagnata da un pane morbido e croccante. Un solo appunto al servizio, in quanto i primi, buoni, gustosi e abbondanti, sono arrivati in due tempi diversi. Il locale era quasi pieno di gente locale, segno di qualità costante.
