I booked this restaurant to go with my mom. It had been a while since we went out for dinner and attracted by the reviews and the mention in the Michelin guide I decided to book. Cold place and nothing special. We start off well with the carrot cream soup offered by the chef, we continue with two risottos, one of which is à la carte, really not bad. The bonnet is also discreet but the creamy egg is not that creamy and it falls into a nosedive with the juniper tartlet, where there are two cases, either it was already over, or the temperatures were really bad, including that of the slapped ice cream above as if to cover the taste of the can. Another point against the coffee, in pods, undrinkable, which on the bill is justified by the accompaniment to the
Small pastry shop (3 industrial biscuits in a cross) "offer". The bread is good. I've honestly had better elsewhere, where they took themselves less seriously and produced more talentedly. Not bad but definitely needs improvement. The waitresses were courteous and also the chef who came to meet us given my mother's lack of love for vegetables. Price slightly high but acceptable.

My husband decided to pamper me by taking me to this place that he learned about through various searches... the place is elegant but without going overboard, we were immediately welcomed impeccably and we were able to easily choose where to sit.
The staff is highly trained and very friendly, making us feel immediately at ease.
We opted for the freehand route to allow the Chef to give free rein to his mastery. What can I say... everything was really delicious! Eight courses that allowed us to explore every flavor and texture... all accompanied by an excellent wine recommended by the Sommelier who was able to immediately understand our tastes.
We will DEFINITELY be back

We start with a velvety soup offered by the chef, a single dish that I must say I really liked. The creaminess and delicate flavor were perfect, a start that conquered the palate. It was undoubtedly the dish that satisfied me the most during dinner. However, I must point out that the room was quite cold for a dinner, even though we had a radiator next to it. This affected the overall comfort a bit.
The dining room staff is very young and attentive, always available to satisfy requests.
As for the cuisine, I think there is still room for improvement. The flavours, in my opinion, are too intense and for personal taste I prefer simple and refined raw materials rather than flavors driven by complementary tastes.
Overall, the experience was positive, but there are some aspects to consider.

Very high level!!!
I'll start with the location with three simple adjectives: beautiful, elegant and refined, ideal for special evenings. The service managed by the two waitresses was superb, kind, courteous and always available to satisfy every request.
Speaking of the dishes, I start with a carrot cream soup offered by the applause-worthy chef!!! as an appetizer a Piedmontese Fassone tartarre with black truffle and sublime extra virgin black olive oil. As a first course, masterfully crafted tagliatelle with white truffle and as a second course, a selection of delicious cheeses!!
I want to underline the excellent quality of the raw materials which guarantee, behind a brilliant mastery in the creation, excellent dishes.

The 2 of us had dinner this week for the first time in this restaurant which is often referred to as a top-quality restaurant by many people in Novara and, what can I say? We were not disappointed AT ALL, in fact, it went even beyond our expectations!
The place is very nice and above all cozy and intimate with few seats, the atmosphere inside the room is very relaxed and the service immediately puts you at ease being informal yet very professional: note of merit on this, the two girls who they serve, despite being very young they are very knowledgeable and willingly have an informal chat with the guests, which definitely puts you at ease!
As soon as we sat down we were asked if we wanted an aperitif with a glass of wine (rosé or white bubbles) and 3 small samples, we agreed and started trying the cuisine.
We then chose the 8-course menu inspired by the chef and it was truly a magnificent experience: one dish better than the other (honourable mention for the tortelli with duck ragù which were incredible) from the starters up to and including the main courses pre-dessert and small post-dessert pastries.
Total price €225 with a bottle of wine (excellent and recommended by one of the two girls in the room who is also a sommelier) costing €36.
Absolutely good quality/price ratio because the price may seem high but the overall experience is truly of a high standard, congratulations to all the staff!
We will definitely be back, perhaps to one of the themed evenings they offer! 😋

I found myself at lunch twice at Tre Scalini and having frequented the old version of the restaurant in the past, I must admit that the change was undoubtedly a huge improvement. At lunch there are two proposals to choose from, a single course with first course, second course and side dish (for example risotto, cutlet and vegetables) and water, a glass of wine and coffee are included. The quality of the food is undisputed despite the more than affordable fixed price (13 euros if I remember correctly), the chef is really good at delighting and satiating without skimping or overdoing it. The girls in the room are cheerful and kind, it's a pleasure. If you have space and time during your lunch break, the desserts are also excellent, last time I had a dessert made with sheep's ricotta, honey, chopped pistachios and croquette wafers: wow!
