Four friends who had been wanting to try these typical Sassari dishes for a long time...!!! We had a wonderful time, tasty and authentic dishes from our grandparents...!!! A delightful lunch, we were satisfied and paid what we deserved. We will definitely be back....

By chance, following the reviews, we ate at Gianluca's in Sassari today... An incredible discovery, combining tradition and expert craftsmanship in an incredible way, steeped in Sassari tradition... I tasted dishes I'd never eaten before, and original and effective creations. Not to be missed if you're passing through.

We went to this place based on the reviews and because it was recommended, but it wasn't a good choice. It's too basic in every way. The place is spartan and, frankly, a bit sad. The dishes are tasteless; good, fresh, but tasteless. No wine list. It feels more like a canteen than a restaurant. In my humble opinion, when you go out to a restaurant, you don't just go for food, but for an experience. It should leave a lasting impression, a flavor that should draw you back to that place with the desire to try it again. None of that. I probably didn't understand it.

We decided to spend an evening during our vacation at Gianluca's trattoria, attracted by the Sassari specialties on his menu and the good reviews.
Our experience far exceeded our expectations.
The food was top-quality, all strictly homemade, served in a family atmosphere, and accompanied by the smiles of the waitress and Gianluca, who was truly charming.
It's hard to say if there was one dish we liked more than the others... because they were all truly delicious!
Well done Gianluca, keep up the good work 💪💪💪

The atmosphere is very simple, with equally simple but good food. We really enjoyed the donkey steak, the snails in tomato sauce, and the myrtle liqueur offered at the end of the meal (the only restaurant to offer it during our entire stay on the island).
