12/04/2025: We just had lunch with Mr. Giancarlo, what a man! Impeccable treatment and cuisine. Each dish is expertly prepared with self-produced 0km ingredients. The service is accompanied by a detailed explanation of the course and its ingredients. Below is the menu that we had the pleasure of tasting: • Typical Piacenza cured meats (bacon, coppa, 3 types of salami, bresaola, lard, lard pesto) accompanied by fried gnocco.
• First courses: risotto (perfectly cooked), very soft pumpkin cannelloni, anolini in broth.
• The second courses: pink point magatello, Angus tartare, polenta with gorgonzola/cotechino/stew, finally Florentine-style steak that melted in the mouth. Followed by the cheese table. • And finally, desserts cooked in a wood oven (sbrisolona, fig tart and apple pie) + tiramisu. Despite the size of the meal (we were at the table for 5 hours), the excellent quality of the cuisine absolutely did not affect digestion. Honorable mention for the goodness of the meat!!! Absolutely recommended, excellent experience. We will be happy to return!
09/04/2025: I gave 5 stars to everything because it reminded me of aromas, flavours, family hospitality that I hadn't felt for a long time, a special thanks to Gianfranco, legendary and genuine, a great person thanks to him, his wife in the kitchen... and his children.
