A pleasant surprise in Spilimpergo. I've been coming here for years and didn't know about it. A very nice and welcoming location, excellent food with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The only flaw, perhaps, is a little more attention to the tables... empty bottles and excess glasses should be removed soon.
In any case, an experience worth repeating.

Great cuisine and magnificent dishes inspired by tradition, such as "Gallina in tecia" (chicken in a pan). The wines are impressive, from sparkling Ribolla Gialla for an aperitif to typical Friulian wines.

I've had lunch at this lovely restaurant several times (and will continue to do so many more times).
The atmosphere is cozy, the service friendly and efficient, and all the dishes are fantastic.
Cjarsons and tagliolini alla San Danielle are delicious appetizers, as is the risotto ai Sklôpit, served in the spring. The Prosciutto crudo di San Daniele is excellent.
On Saturday, market day, they also serve a delicious Fritto di Pesce.
In short, highly recommended!

The restaurant has a very cozy, subdued atmosphere, which is quite rare in the area, with jazz playing in the background.
Fairly modern cuisine.
