Excellent experience. Inspired by the photos of typical Sardinian dishes we saw online, we decided to try this restaurant for dinner and were delighted. The interior is quaint and beautiful, creating a delightful atmosphere.
The owner is a delightful person. Excellent service.

The cuisine is traditional, not overdone, but the reinterpretation of the dishes reminds you of Sardinia. What's more, they incredibly don't use garlic, which allowed me to enjoy all the dishes despite my allergies. Excellent and fast service. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is fresh and charming. Reasonable prices.

If you want traditional food, this is the place to go. Everything is delicious and the staff is very friendly!
I would always go back!
The tiramisu, although not traditional, is a real treat, truly delicious!!

A place with great attention to detail, welcoming service, elegant furnishings, and unique, delicious dishes. The fried culurgiones with pecorino and saffron cream, the sheep in cappotto, and the seadas are all excellent. Reservations are recommended.

The owner's passion for his work is palpable, and he manages to convey the pride and tradition of his homeland. The dishes are truly delicious. To try as much as possible, we shared an appetizer, two first courses (excellent and homemade), and two second courses... all very good, but unfortunately there was no room for dessert... I was very disappointed not to try them given the caliber of what we had previously eaten, including the wine. The restaurant is a little gem in the center of Iglesias.

A truly unique Sardinian culinary experience! Typical dishes, beautifully cooked. We chose appetizers (Crostone with purpuzza and skewered culurgiones) and various first courses, almost as if we wanted to try the entire menu. The "a cappotto" sheep stew was exquisite, so finely cooked that we asked for seconds!
The meal was rounded off with seadas and beautifully made sweet ravioli.
All in a rustic setting that evokes the history and traditions of Sardinia.
The staff were knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional.
Excellent value for money.
Nothing to add, just to enjoy and return as soon as we return to Iglesias.
Congratulations to everyone, keep up the good work.

It was recommended to us by the owners of L'Antico Ulivo and... thank goodness!!! If you're looking for a restaurant where you can enjoy wonderful traditional Sardinian dishes, you've found the right place. Fabio will not only recommend and describe every dish on the menu, but he'll also tell you their history. Only local ingredients and delicious food, from appetizers to desserts (highly recommended upon reservation). Impeccable service. Intimate and charming location in the historic center of Iglesias. You made us happy and you know it ❤️
