Trattoria Santa Lucia In Besate

At midday, a typical trattoria for workers' lunch breaks: a 12-course menu with a choice of three first courses and three second courses. Homemade cuisine, but more than satisfying, with adequate portions. The only drawback is the long waits, both to eat and to pay. The lady is kind but has to supervise everything. The atmosphere is basic but beautiful because it's so rustic.

Very good food and quiet atmosphere, excellent service

I wrote a review a few months ago, but I have to rewrite it for a new profile: A simple place located on the main road in Besate. The food is simple but good, especially the main course of sausage, ribs, and polenta with mushrooms. The price is fair, considering the quantity. If you're in Besate, stop by.

The lunch menu was wide and the food was good. It's a shame the service was slow and a bit distracted, which is a big problem for someone like me who's pressed for time during a lunch break. Nonetheless, I can still recommend it.
