If you're not from Romagna (or even Emilia 🤣) and you're not familiar with tagliatelle al ragù, well, this is their paradise, even though the entire menu is stellar. The staff is truly top-notch, and the wine selection is excellent (and reasonably priced).

The food, staff, and service were all perfect. I'd say there are few places like Trattoria San Giovanni that truly capture the essence of Romagna. Simplicity is hard to achieve while maintaining tradition. Regarding drinks, the restaurant has good references, including an excellent selection of craft beers. Definitely recommended.

Had dinner with a group, I didn't choose the menu and I don't even know the price since it was offered to me, but everything was good and the service was good too, I think I'll be back

Quality Romagna cuisine. Expertly prepared, authentically Rimini-style: perfectly thin piadina, perfectly balanced baked potatoes (not overdone with garlic or salt), herbs with a flavor unique to Rimini, and well-cooked meat that's flavorful but not salty. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Prices are in line with the quality.

A good trattoria/restaurant in Rimini, spacious and with plenty of seating. Professional service and moderate wait times. Excellent food and a good menu selection, including a meat-based dish. Definitely worth a try.

Piada e Cassoni da Ciana e Monda

28/10/2025: The cassone and piadina were good, but I was sick all night, so I hope it was a fluke because I'd read reviews about the excellent quality and was hesitant. I ordered the same cassone and piadina two days later at another place and didn't have the same problem. The atmosphere is a bit strange. Since we were tourists, we didn't know about the reservation, and they were a bit annoyed by our order.
14/10/2025: Delicious piadina, truly handmade according to tradition by the sdore. The ladies are kind and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

Bastian Contrario

04/01/2026: I loved this place. I organized a table for 13 with a full menu from the "Bastian contrario" (the opposite). The service was fast, the staff exceptional. The food was well-proportioned and delicious, and I also liked the atmosphere. The parking was large and convenient; we were all happy!
28/12/2025: A quaint place. I've been there often. Friendly and professional management. Traditional cuisine with quality, carefully prepared ingredients. Plenty of parking. Excellent and practical menu options. Fair prices. Will definitely return.
