Trattoria San Bernardo In Seborga

While visiting Seborga my wife and I stopped in for a coffee. We each ordered an Americano coffee which is a larger cup of coffee than the espresso cup of coffee. We both had 2. The reason we had 2 was to confirm what we thought was happening. The first cups that we got were different in color. Mine was very dark while my wife’s was very light. We are black coffee drinkers, no milk or sugar. The second 2 cups were exactly the same. They ran the first cup through the coffee grounds and then filled the second using the same grounds. It barely tasted like coffee! Fortunately the cost was cheap. I did not complain to waitress and she claimed to speak no English, nor did anyone else.
