In Genoa for a visit to the Aquarium, after having walked around the historic center for a bit, we decide to have lunch at Trattoria Rosmarino. The restaurant is located a stone's throw from Piazza De Ferrari. The interior is very nice with three rooms and tables close together but which give a sense of conviviality. On the menu you can find many dishes of Genoese cuisine such as Cappon Magro, brandacujun cod and tripe alla sbira. There are slow food dishes and the wine list is good. Courteous and attentive service and considering the location in the center the value for money is excellent. Reservations are absolutely mandatory because the place is always very crowded. Highly recommended!!!

Very good restaurant, brasserie atmosphere with good products. Good value for money. Reservations required for two evening slots at 7:30 p.m. or 9:30 p.m.

Best food I've had in a long time. Everything tastes fresh and attention has been paid to everything. The tiramisu was exactly how you want a tiramisu to be, perfectly balanced and no layer that dominated. You pay for a simple trattoria but you get much more than that. This would be my first recommendation to others!

Nice place, but small and narrow.
As for very good food, I would happily go back!
Very good croaker with turnip greens and cream of potatoes, absolutely worth taking!
Millefeuille with Chantilly cream overcooked but in my opinion very good (then it's subjective).

Great restaurant, the best we did in Genova. Very tasty food, reasonable price and portions. Is recommended by Michelin Guide. Is however most time fully booked so please book ahead and arrive on time

Der Sformato di funghi porcini su
fonduta war ausgesprochen gut, die
Trofie al Pesto waren hingegen etwas fad, nicht schlecht, aber sie erfüllten nicht meine Erwartungen. Leider werden keine halben Flaschen Wein angeboten. Die Preise für Speis und Trank sind fair und das Restaurant ist sehr zentral gelegen.

The food is superb. Crunchy veal, sounds weird but it’s excellent, the roast baby pig is to die for, the baccalà appetiser is the best I’ve had.
Very reasonably priced wine. Fair service. Toilets poor.
All up a very well priced, magnificent meal. If the menu wasn’t so limited (3 appetizers, 3 mains and a handful of specials) I’d be back for more tomorrow.
By the way, the gelateria next door is great too.
