We had dinner one evening, everything was excellent... food and service, the only negative note was that we were sitting in a small room adjacent to the kitchen and there was a lady in the kitchen who was yelling at the staff, this was very annoying... in my opinion, complaints about the kitchen should remain there...

Dinner with friends, great food, and excellent wine. The gnocchi were special, and the Venetian-style liver was exquisite. The meatballs were also excellent. The price was fair. I'll definitely be back.

Social media is a part of our lives these days. Once upon a time, if you were in another city, you'd ask passersby where you could get a "normal" pizza. You'd try to figure out from their clothes or mannerisms whether the person had good taste. It often ended badly. Now, however, it's the dishes on social media that give you the clues you'd previously sought from passersby. So, intrigued by YouTube videos of Osteria Roma—featuring a woman, I presume the owner—I decided to try it. Despite the videos, I didn't really understand what kind of cuisine it was, so I was expecting the usual osteria that passes itself off as "home cooking" but is actually anything but. After loading the family into the car, we set off for yet another "food marathon." A rather gruff man greeted us at the entrance—perhaps he was just having a bad day. He let us choose our table, which is a good thing: sometimes you book and find yourself near the bathrooms, the kitchen, or, worse, right in front of the front door in winter, just when a large group arrives. We had the specials of the day: baked guinea fowl (very good), a special peperonata—made in a sweet and sour sauce, almost like caponata, a rare treat for a Venetian—and tagliatelle with ragù for my daughter. Those were also good, although I prefer the bigolo, which is more neutral and suited to the Venetian ragù, but that's just my personal opinion.
For dessert, a wild berry millefeuille with homemade cream (no commercial sachets) and a perfect tart. All accompanied by a Pinot Noir, which for me remains the king of reds.
In short: simple yet refined cuisine, like eating at the home of friends who truly know their stuff. Aside from the initial impression of the "grumpy" (who later mellowed out), the staff was courteous and helpful. The average bill may seem a bit pricey, but €30 per person is still a good average, justified by the quality of the ingredients. There's clearly an expert hand in the kitchen.

An excellent experience in every way!
We were truly impressed by everything... dishes with authentic flavors. Every course was a masterpiece!
The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, ready to accommodate every request with professionalism and kindness.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere made everything even more enjoyable.
The quality/price ratio was absolutely right for a gastronomic experience of this caliber.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, flavor, and impeccable service!

The food is very tasty and delicious. First time I’ve been there the bill was normal, for two persons was about 65 euros. But second time I’ve been there, and we eat almost the same food and drink same wine, the bill was 98 euros. They charged us 1 kg heavy steak 😳😳😳, first time it was the same size steak and it was half of the price. Not good, sorry 😞
