Old-fashioned trattoria. Traditional home cooking (wild boar, duck, goose, etc.). A touch of modernity in the service and the cicchetti offerings. A rare find these days. Recommended.

I'd been hearing about this trattoria for a long time. I really enjoyed it; the food is practically grandma's, authentic and unpretentious, with excellent game. The place is a typical old-fashioned Venetian trattoria. The service is very quick and courteous. It's also a popular place for cicchetteria (there's a small display case). The quality/price ratio is truly fair. I only found one flaw: not having a separate menu for off-menu items, the poor waiter forgot to suggest a dish I overheard at a nearby table. It's a shame, it would have been a dish I would have loved to order. Maybe next time.

As a foodie, a friend took me there for the first time last night. It's a very beautiful and well-kept traditional restaurant. The food is just the way I like it, made as if my grandmother had made it, without unnecessary frills. It serves authentic, authentic recipes from Venetian cuisine that are becoming increasingly rare. Places like this need to be protected and, above all, frequented. Congratulations again.
