A marvel!!! We took a trip to Sicily looking for, among other things, the best pasta dish, and we found what we were looking for right in the heart of the island. Many times, in movies that talk about Italian cuisine, a cozy, family-friendly and homely restaurant is shown where the protagonists meet a lady who cooks and delights with food, because it really exists! From now on, we love Maria not only for cooking us extraordinary dishes (we repeated several days), but also because she told us many things about the island and life. Thank you very much and see you soon, friend!

If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and go see Maria. The food she cooks is incredible, not only because of the quality of the ingredients but because of the love she puts into it. We liked it so much that we went there several times during the days we were in Santa Caterina, and it was a shame to have to go home because we can no longer go to dinner with her and have a good chat. I give her 5/5 because you can't rate it higher! Grazie per tutto Maria!!!
