01/02/2026: 🕵️♂️ INVESTIGATION REPORT: The Spicy Claw of the Kite
📍 Venue: La Tana del Nibbio – Pian dei Resinelli
Detective Gusteau enters the scene! Hat tilted, notebook at the ready, and a never-missing instinct… especially when there's mountain air and culinary mysteries.
The first impression? A restaurant that plays at being a refuge… and does it well. Wood everywhere, warm lighting, and that "here we eat seriously" vibe.
🔥The crime scene:
As soon as you cross the threshold, the detective realizes that here the Kite isn't just flying in name! The atmosphere immediately captivates you.
Warm cabin lighting, wood creaking like an old witness, sturdy tables that seem to have heard a thousand gastronomic confessions. The scent of butter, spices, and mountain stories fills the air. A rustic yet lively atmosphere, the kind of place where Gusteau relaxes… without ever stopping to observe.
🍽️ The corpus deli:
The charcuterie board arrives first, beautiful to look at, yes… but cold. So cold that the detective checked to see if he had requested a press blackout. The pizzoccheri, on the other hand, speak volumes! Flavorful, full, and cooperative. The kind of clue that makes you think the lead is solid.
Then the goulash with taragna polenta enters the picture. Smooth, rich, spicy… practically a witness confessing everything before even sitting down. The red wine? Also cold.
A detail that Gusteau notes with the calm of someone who's seen worse cases… but that doesn't mean he forgives him.
💰 Operation Costs:
💵 Standard Operation!
Fair price for the value of the evidence collected.
Detective's Note: The receipt was filed as Exhibit A-1. Clear amount, credible motive... and no escape attempt. A document that speaks louder than certain cured meats.
🔍 Detective's Rating:
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (Rating 9) – Masterstroke
An investigation conducted almost to perfection. The goulash was the twist that shook the detective's notebook.
⚖️ The Verdict:
A restaurant with the soul of a refuge! Honest, tasty, and with a goulash that deserves its own file.
Case almost closed... but the detective will return to see if the wine decides to warm up a bit next time.
18/01/2026: This restaurant is right in front of the town's little church.
I'd heard good things about it, but only tried it today.
Very friendly staff.
Excellent
Dishes, both appetizers and pizxoccheri, as well as pork shank with polenta.
The menu isn't overwhelming, with just a few dishes (3 appetizers, 3 first courses, 3/4 second courses, and 3 desserts), a sign of quality and meticulous preparation.
Outdoor seating in the summer.
