For me the best Roman restaurant for value for money.
It's difficult to find restaurants that serve such quantities of pasta at such honest prices.
However, you must remember that you come here for the pasta. Most of the appetizers are frozen, just as the desserts are not all home-made. There are a couple of seconds.
Throw yourself into a cacio e pepe with homemade maccheroncini or an excellent Carbonara.

Small but nice place without pretensions but honest. However, I am Roman, I don't have a trace of Roman cuisine. I got the cacio e pepe and it didn't taste very good but it wasn't a cacio e pepe.
Very generous portions.

They had already warned me about the quantity of portions that are created "by feeling"... and I must say that they were right! The portions were generous and YUMMY!! The desserts were a little too expensive for what they were... (€7), but for the rest (basically the first courses, because they only offer a couple of second courses) everything was really well cooked.

Very small place, booking well in advance is recommended.
The menu is not extensive but of little interest given that when we end up there we always take the Carbonara or the Amatriciana. Amazing!

Typical Roman trattoria with a small restaurant and a very simple menu with few dishes, especially first courses, very, very good but above all HUGE.
We are talking about pasta dishes weighing at least 200g, therefore "Roman style".
By not charging a cover charge, they "impose" one dish per person since there are few places and they rightly have to guarantee a minimum turnover. Very understandable.
I took a carbonara (as in the photo) and found it perfect from the correct doses of pecorino and egg, the very fragrant pepper to the truly crunchy bacon.
You must book a few days in advance.
I highly recommend trying it if you want a nice plate of Roman pasta that satisfies you (and then not eating again for 3 days).

La cena inizia con antipasto di salumi misti, carciofi fritti peraltro surgelati e a piccoli pezzi, proseguito poi con bucatini e cacio e pepe.
Quantità degli antipasti giusta, i primi abbondantissimi da scoppiá!!! Ma di ottima qualità. Ok anche i dolci ma dal prezzo un pò elevato.
