09/07/2025: As regular patrons of Santino, we had the pleasure of attending two exceptional themed ethnic dinners: one celebrating Mexican cuisine, the other dedicated to Russian culinary traditions. Both evenings were true sensory journeys, thoughtfully curated down to the finest details, from the ambiance and decor to the presentation of each dish, the variety of courses, and the faithful representation of each culinary heritage.
The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, as was the balance between authenticity and creative flair. Traditional recipes were honored with great precision, yet tastefully reimagined with intelligence and elegance. An unmistakably Italian, and particularly Calabrian touch elevated the flavors without ever compromising their integrity.
We sampled dishes rarely seen outside their native contexts, each prepared with technical skill and heartfelt passion. Every course told a story; every bite felt like a journey. The service was flawless, the staff passionate and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere warm and convivial, all of which made these evenings truly unforgettable.
This is a bold and brilliantly executed initiative that proves Sant’Emilia is more than just a restaurant, it’s a place where the culture of food becomes a vivid, shared, and surprising experience.
