02/11/2023: 1° novembre - pranzo.
Ottima scelta. Ristorante su Via Baylle, perpendicolare di Via Sardegna, in un buon ambiente composto da più sale, e con maestranze molto ben disposte verso la clientela.
Io ho optato per linguine agli scampi che, probabilmente, ricorderò a lungo e, naturalmente, ho assaggiato anche le ottime trofie gamberetti e fiori di zucca di mia figlia e gli spaghetti in cartoccio di mia moglie.
Ma, in assoluto, la pietanza più gustosa e stato il divino maialetto al forno con patate, senza dimenticare il filetto di pescato del giorno che, forse, tra tutti è stata la portata più "normale".
Forse, altini i prezzi di bevande e dolci, mentre in linea con la buona offerta quelli delle cibanze.
Mia figlia lavora a Cagliari ed in più occasioni siamo venuti a trovarla.
Per il futuro, Sa Schironada è a lapis rosso sulla mia agenda.
27/09/2023: The restaurant is located quite central and it has an amazing space. It is huge, with a rustique but elegant feeling. Everything is tidy and it feels very high quality and sophisticated.
We were welcomed by a waiter and we got seated on a small table and we got quickly the menu to look at. There were a lot of interesting dishes, generally the price in line with most of the restaurants in town - on the upper edge. I took a mixed of fried fish and my daughter took a tagliata.
We got our food served not too long after.
One of the waiters though (a young guy) seemed a bit confused and, although he had just served out food, came back again with new food, which was for the food next to us, and "welcomed us to the dinner".
My fried fish was perfectly cooked and delicious. It felt as it was fresh. I would have though expected a little bit more.
My daughter meat was very good, covered in a lot of parmigiano which was something she liked a lot. Sadly, at least one third of the meat was pure fat that could just be cut away. I felt that that was a bit of cheating to pay 23 euro for throw away one third of it (I doubt even an adult would have eaten those big chunks of fat).
When it was time to pay, the service got a bit slower - as the restaurant probably got a bit busy.
All together, this was a very nice meal - I think this place is perfect for a romantic dinner and if one wants to eat some typical food from Sardinia.
