Everything was good, the meat was excellent, the waitress was also kind and always helpful

Excellent food and generous portions. The waitress who served us was very kind and friendly. The restaurant is furnished in a rustic style. They accept dogs. The only flaw was that we struggled to find the restaurant as Google Maps shows the wrong road to get there but IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. I highly recommend

Hidden in the village of the town, little publicized, the Piè di Castello restaurant is a place where the Trentino tradition can be felt everywhere; the place, don't be scared by the stairs, is warm and welcoming covered with wooden paneling; the cuisine is home-style and salted meat reigns supreme, raw or cooked; we liked it so much (raw was our favourite) that we did an encore: first accompanied by a fantastic giardiniera, then served with beans. The apple pie is good, the plums in alcohol are great. The very young staff is super friendly and present in the service. In short, we had such a good time that we booked for the following evening.

In occasione di un compleanno siamo andati a preovare questa osteria in zona lago di Tenno. Il locale è sempre pieno quindi è d’obbligo la prenotazione. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Probabilmente ho assaggiato la più buona carne salada di sempre. Sono molto attenti sul senza glutine, abbiamo potuto addirittura mangiare le patatine fritte. Anche il prezzo congruo alla qualità e soprattutto alla quantità. A fine pasto eravamo tutti più che sazi. Unica nota negativa: non c’era nessun dolce senza glutine. Torneremo sicuramente.

Uno dei migliori locali provati nel mio Trentino, offre una cucina tipica di alta qualità. Location davvero bella e accogliente. Non ho potuto fare a meno di assaggiare alcune delle loro specialità. Visto l'abbondante aperitivo fatto altrove ho optato per un primo e un secondo. Presi strangolapreti con burro fuso, trentingrana e speck che erano davvero buonissimi e per secondo non potevamo esimerci dall'assaggiare la specialità del luogo, la carne salada. Presa cotta è stata davvero eccezionale e l'abbiamo accompagna da una giardiniera fatta in casa da loro che è stata la più buona e ghiotta che abbia mai mangiato. Un pranzo davvero con i fiocchi. La carne si scioglieva in bocca e non aveva bisogno di niente in aggiunta. Porzioni poi molto generose quindi la qualità accompagnata anche dalla quantità che per me non guasta mai :) Da bere abbiamo optato per un ottimo vino rosè autoctono. Siamo in Trentino, la patria dei vini bianchi più buoni in assoluto (dal Trento Doc al Muller Thurgau solo per citarne due) e quale prendi prendi....non te sbagli mai. Personale gentile e competente e un rapporto qualità/prezzo da 10 !
