The salted meat is good, but more like carpaccio. The apple pie is excellent. The selection is limited, the service is okay. The place could use a refresh. The prices are a bit high for what they offer.

We ate a lot, but it was really good! Very generous portions and more than fair prices! The carne salada was top-notch! The hot appetizer wasn't perfect, but the bread spread was delicious.

After visiting the Varone waterfalls, we went for lunch and decided on this trattoria. The entrance isn't much to look at when you first walk in, but once you go up the stairs, you'll find yourself in front of four tables. At first, we weren't sure what to do, but then the kind waitress showed us that the place was MUCH larger than it looked. Looks can be deceiving. We ate well. The strangolapreti were very good, the canederli... I would have added one more, but they were good, the meat was salty, and the cooked cabbage was delicious. The berry cheesecake was delicious.

Oberhalb von Riva liegt das Dorf Cologna di Tenno, wo es sich lohnt einen Stop einzulegen. Man befindet sich in der Heimat des Carne Sala und der Strangola Preti, nicht nur für uns beides absolute Highlights aus der Region. Sehr empfehlenswert ist hier das Pie di Castello, ein alteingesessenes, uriges, sehr rustikales Restaurant, das sich voll auf diese Speisen spezialisiert hat. Lohnt sich!

19/10/2025: A very nice little restaurant on the mountain not far from Torbole. The view of Lake Garda and Torbole from the terrace is magnificent! You can dine outside or inside. A rustic ambiance in vaulted rooms, friendly service, and delicious food. We loved it and would happily recommend this little restaurant!
16/10/2025: Great little restaurant, both the indoor and outdoor seating are amazing , good causal food
