I think it's a place worth visiting. Last night I felt like a child again, the trattorias of yesteryear! Family-run, with a fantastic restaurant in the kitchen, and it shows!!! Traditional Emilian dishes, all delicious, and even though I definitely overindulged... the night went wonderfully. Well done, well done, well done, and thank you for the experience, which I will repeat whenever I can!!!

If you're in the Emilia region and looking for a classic Trattoria with a capital T, tied to a delicatessen, run by genuine and friendly people, you simply have to go to Trattoria da Franco.... Fantastic food, amazing cured meats, an explosive pumpkin tortello, not to mention the wild boar ones, fried polenta topped with a slice of out-of-this-world gorgonzola cheese, a good, fresh, sparkling wine... Great.... Just what I was looking for and expecting..... Highly recommended, especially for the price.

The entrance from the tobacconist's section can be confusing, but if you continue toward the dining room, you'll find yourself in a REAL trattoria where we had a truly delicious dinner! The host was discreet and extremely friendly; he served us one dish better than the other! We left feeling extremely satisfied, full, and at a very fair price! We'll definitely be back, THANK YOU!

A typical bar, trattoria, and village market.
Upon entering, you immediately sense the place's history.
The place is obviously dated (very much so), and everywhere you look, you see clutter, but that's its charm.
The cuisine is unpretentious, featuring traditional Emilian dishes with modest portions; the pasta and beans are excellent. The boiled vegetables, which were clearly frozen, were a bit of a letdown.
Needless to say, the service is informal.

Tried it during lunch break. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with a set menu and takeaway sandwiches available. The set menu changes daily: first course, second course with side dish, and a drink for €15. Excellent value for money.
