I don't understand the previous reviews. We've been visiting this restaurant with students for years, even decades, and we're very satisfied. When we're here privately, the food is excellent and the service is attentive. You sit outside on the street, which is almost completely deserted, and it's right next to Termini Station. Highly recommended! The price is really reasonable, and the restaurant has been run by Oreste, his wife Iudina, and their daughters for decades. If you enjoy Rome with your family, this is the place for you!

I have been fond of this trattoria ever since I lived in the area years ago, and I still go back every now and then. It should be taken for what it is: a relatively cheap place near Termini. The pizza is typical Roman, thin but with a decent amount of toppings, but those who want a true Neapolitan pizza should go elsewhere. I recommend ordering simple dishes: steak, scallops, a pasta dish that isn't too elaborate. The artichokes are also good, and so are the other vegetables. The service, for me, has always been courteous and I have never seen the place dirty. Not for big occasions, a simple place for a lunch or dinner that isn't exceptional but isn't disappointing either.

Excellent restaurant with very reasonable prices. It was the first restaurant we ate in Rome when we arrived, and we've been wanting to go back for the past three days. The prices are much lower than other restaurants in the area, and the food is much better and of higher quality. Plus, the service is in French. 😉

Best pizza, tiramisu and house wine in Rome!! It was a family restaurant, very warm and the waiter was so so so nice. We loved it with my mother, the pizza was Il Secchio and it is definitely the pizza I want to eat forever :)

I have no idea why this place has so many bad reviews. It’s a hidden gem. It’s a family owned restaurant and has really good food and the prices are also great. I don’t know about second courses but I had pasta carbonara and it was so delicious. My cousin ate a pizza and it was also very thin and delicious. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality. Tiramisu and panna cotta were also really tasty not too sweet. Perfect. Waitress was really sweet too. I highly recommend this place especially if u want pasta or pizza.

Fantastic food especially for the price! Chicken cutlet and pork cooked to perfection, fries and pasta… all was delicious with water, bread and olives all for less than one dish costs elsewhere. Very helpful and welcoming staff too, loads of outdoor seating on a quiet street.

Restaurant situé à quelques pas d un axe principal et de la gare. Comme ses voisins il dispose d un rabatteur sympathique sans être insistant. Saltimboca bonne, tiramisu excellent. Bon service. Les vins aux verres étaient bons. C est pas le cas partout. Je recommande dans cette ville aux multiples restaurants

Lea los tablones de menús en algunos restaurantes una noche y se encontró con este. El tipo cerca de ella era tan amable y nos recomendó algunas cosas enumeradas y nos dirigió al lugar. Muy pintoresco, iluminado con un montón de luces centelleantes nos sentamos inmediatamente y nos dieron menús y ofrecieron vino. Nuestro camarero, Hasan, era increíble. Noche ocupada pero Hasan era tan eficiente con todo lo que estaba manejando. Él estaba trabajando su trasero y haciendo un gran trabajo manejando nosotros y todas las mesas a nuestro alrededor. La lasaña estaba caliente y sabrosa y deliciosa! Mi marido consiguió el alfredo fetichínico y era cremoso y bueno! También tuvimos la bruschetta con tomates picados - el pan era súper crujiente con el justo amt de aceite de oliva rociar, así como la ensalada caprese. También compartimos una buena botella de vino Chianti. Un tipo en la mesa de al lado tomó una cerveza y juro que fue el vaso más grande de cerveza que he visto y se veía bien y frío! Esta fue nuestra última noche en Italia, así que queríamos todo italiano y este era el lugar perfecto. Muy recomendable! ¡Pregunta por Hasan!
