The cuisine is decent, nothing fancy, but affordable. A family restaurant that has been run for generations, but its decor and service are not up to par with what most people expect these days.

Tourist menu is excellent, in fact far too cheap for the good quality on offer. The traditional family style seems not to suit some people and some reviews are ludicricrously negative beyond all reason. The pasta is cooked to perfection, the tomato sauce is delicious. The chips are excellent as is the house wine. Generous with the olives as aperitifs and good quality bread too.

We had lunch there on the day of the Epiphany, everything was good and plentiful, the owners were very kind!! If I go back to Rome I'll go again ❤️

A good place! Quick, simple and delicious food, but nothing special, the service is very good and the house wine is delicious, a pleasant and organized atmosphere. It has a bathroom and is heated.

Locale al quale sono legato affettivamente per averlo a lungo frequentato durante i miei periodi di permanenza a Roma tra la fine degli anni '90 e l'inizio degli anni 2000, nonchè anche dopo in occasione di viaggi a Roma. Sarà sicuramente difficile non affondare nel tipico livello della ristorazione delle città italiane ormai travolte dai turisti mordi (e ci mancherebbe!) e fuggi, però tutto sommato non abbiamo mangiato male (souté di cozze e spaghetti alle vongole) anche se senza particolari guizzi. Prezzo più che onesto.

Era da tempo che non andavo più al Ristorante Nuova Stella e devo dire che come al solito sono rimasto soddisfattissimo. Cibo di ottima qualità, sapientemente preparato, servizio cortese attento e professionale. Molto bene, lo consiglio per ogni evenienza. Tornerò molto presto.

17/11/2024: Apretado en la última mesa para el almuerzo (sugerir reserva, esto era temporada baja) , tuvimos un excelente almuerzo de domingo. Antipasto de champiñones a la parrilla, fetiches frescos con champiñones porcinos, luego pato un conejo naranja y relleno. Las carnes eran excepcionales, todo excelente. Aprendimos que el dueño compra canales enteros y carnicerías en casa, incluso deshuesando conejos, y se nota en la calidad y atención al detalle. Super
