Simply AMAZING!! Background music, rustic atmosphere, excellent service, authentic Salento cuisine. I'm thinking of returning to Avaya, especially for dinner at this trattoria soon. Try it and believe it!

We ate at this trattoria for the first time a few days ago and wondered why we'd never been before!!!
We were truly impressed by the quality of the food, the very welcoming and characteristic place, and Simone's kindness.
From Grandpa's vegetable appetizer, pici, to the Maritati with ragù, to the fillet and rib of horse meat, artisanal spumoni, house wine, and more, there was nothing we didn't love.
So, before leaving Salento, our second home, we will definitely eat here again... and again and again on future trips! 😆😆💯💯💯

Everything was perfect, from the appetizer to the myrtle spumone. The horse meat was excellent and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly. Highly recommended.

The food is simply exceptional. I highly recommend it if you want to try traditional Salento cuisine.
The prices are truly excellent; for an appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, and two desserts, we paid €37 each.

A typical Salento trattoria in a timeless setting. Quality food (especially don't miss the vegetable appetizers), generous portions, and absolutely reasonable prices.
Perhaps a few more options for non-meat eaters wouldn't hurt.

A guarantee at Borgo di Acaja...traditional local dishes (we're in Salento) cooked to perfection, in a location reminiscent of old-fashioned trattorias. For those heading to the seaside towns of San Foca, San Teodoro, Torre dell'Orsa, etc., it's a must-see.

We had dinner at this trattoria on the outdoor terrace, which I highly recommend.
Truly excellent food, reflecting true Salento cuisine.
The meat was exquisite, and the first course with ricotta forte was delicious.
