Forget about luxury, refined dishes and similar things. This is a REAL TRATTORIA, like the ones you see in Italian b/w films. You eat well, you spend the right amount, and it feels like you're having lunch at a friend's house. Let's hold on to places like these, there aren't many left. The most beautiful places, those outside, are few, it is better to book.

The restaurant is located in a secluded position compared to all the others and near the chapel dedicated to Saint Eusebio on the road to the Rosazza refuge. Pleasant and quiet environment, you can stop even just for a coffee. It remains open all year except for a bimonthly break from the end of January to March. If you type Trattoria Nocca Oropa into Google, the telephone number will also appear. Recommended

Place discovered by chance, very suggestive, good polenta, as well as the hazelnut and coffee dessert, the tagliatelle with meat sauce a little too al dente, the breaded cutlet undercooked, will we go back?

Una piacevole scoperta appena sopra il famoso Santuario. Ottimo antipasto, stracotto eccezionale, cinghiale superlativo e polenta concia indimenticabile. Staff gentilissimo e cordiale. Davvero tutto ottimo

18/11/2024: Excellent experience, I was satisfied with everything, especially the kind manners of the staff, which doesn't always happen... Another positive thing is that they don't overwhelm you at the table with the ordered dishes, they give you time to finish... The place is clean and quiet, crowded and noisy places are not for me. Excellent value for money (on public holidays lunch costs €16 and €9.80 under 1.20 m cover included in the "all' you can eat" formula). Advise! Don't be fooled by the outside, come in and judge with your own eyes!
