05/04/2025: We had a lovely lunch here at Ristorante Il Veliero—three of us tucked into plates of freshly made pasta that were absolutely delicious. The seafood was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich with flavour yet beautifully balanced. You can really taste the freshness and care in every dish. Located in the charming piazza of Atrani, one of the smallest and most authentic villages on the Amalfi Coast, the restaurant is just steps away from the beach and tucked beneath the historic arches of this beautiful town. The setting is picturesque—narrow streets, vibrant locals, and a sense of old-world Italy that hasn’t been overtaken by heavy tourism. Dining here feels like stepping into a slower, more romantic version of life. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we never felt rushed. If you’re exploring the Amalfi Coast, this is a must-visit for a relaxed, authentic Italian meal with a touch of local history and charm.
