I can't tell you how many times we've been there this summer, for breakfast in the morning—those freshly filled croissants that put you in a good mood all day—for gelato, and what gelato!, in the afternoon—and here I urge you to be careful about getting the Malaga flavor, because it's addictive and you won't find it made with this recipe anywhere else—or for summer evening treats—I'm talking about croissants as big as a bedroom and kitchen filled with gelato, cream-filled granitas, or various sweet treats. The owners, who are also the four hands behind the counter (she'll tell you he doesn't do a thing and is just for show, but I once saw him making a strawberry granita), are two lovely people, and their children (one of them you can even see on the billboard along the seafront) are adorable too. You can't help but grow fond of Plà and let yourself be pampered... but what more could you want from a small artisanal workshop (which, what's more, is truly artisanal, not just for show)?
