A 10/10 experience. My wife and I ate in this restaurant after a beautiful day at the beach in Baratti and I must say that it was really worth it. Excellent cuisine, prepared with care and attention to the local tradition and first choice raw materials treated with respect by those who feel they know how to cook. We get to the substance without too many frills and turns of phrase. Nice, simple place with the atmosphere of old-time trattorias. We had very good starters of cured meats and cheeses (especially the Maremma cheeses), tortelli filled with ricotta and spinach with hand-rolled pasta and meat sauce, simply wonderful! Then locally sourced stewed wild boar with tomato and olives, world-class! Potato flan and fresh porcini mushrooms provided the finishing touch. All really delicious! The really nice owners went the extra mile. A round of applause to the formidable cook and the truly attentive and hospitable waiter. We will definitely be back!!!

I went there with my family. Ate an excellent Florentine steak (to order in advance), delicious pappardelle with wild boar and delicious desserts. The menu is very simple, but everything I ate was very good. In my opinion it deserves it. Even the promoted service!

La trattoria si trova appena fuori dal centro storico e vicino c'è un parcheggio pubblico. È un ambiente molto semplice e basica ma pulita e con proprietari molto gentili. Ci sono due piccole sale e visto il caldo ci hanno accesso, solo per noi l'aria condizionata. Eravamo gli unici clienti ed era un po' come mangiare dalla nonna...toscana ovviamente!. Abbiamo preso i crostini e poi i tortelli al ragù. Tutto molto buono e casalingo. Per accedere all'esame ci sono delle scale.

Every time we are in the area we come to this simple but typical homely trattoria. We didn't find Maurizio but the same genuine flavors and some innovations (special burgers). The new managers were very welcoming, generous in portions and presented with simplicity. Well done, keep it up!

Esternamente molto carina, gli interni da tipica trattoria di una volta.. abbiamo mangiato pasta fatta in casa con relativi sughi anch’essi fatta in casa…tortelli ripieni al ragù e pappardelle con ragù di cinghiale…tutto fantastico! Buonissimo! Poi abbiamo preso il sorbetto al limone servito in un modo mai visto prima, su una scorza di limone: davvero originale e molto buono! Vino buono! Proprietario molto gentile! Prezzi nella media! CONSIGLIATA!
