Trattoria di paese come ormai non se ne vedono più in giro. Personale simpaticissimo e molto alla mano, pochi tavoli, bagno all'esterno, atmosfera conviviale. I piatti sono casalinghi e genuini, cucinati davvero molto bene e in dosi abbondanti. Una chicca: se prendete il caffè, vi portano anche la bottiglia di grappa per la correzione! Da tornarci quanto prima.

Everything you expect from a Trattoria, very friendly Fabrizio, good and traditional cuisine, very courteous service. If I'm in the area I will definitely return. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Excellent cuisine, simple traditional dishes very well prepared. Clean place, excellent service. First choice cured meats, homemade pumpkin tortelli, very tasty. Traditional carnival chatter and desserts that melt in your mouth. Really good

I love it because it is a small, rustic, familiar place, with a nice convivial atmosphere and all the taste of simple, home-made, genuine cuisine. Short and therefore winning menu, which offers local raw materials.

Sunday lunch with typical Mantuan dishes. Starter of cured meats with giardiniera, cappelletti in broth, boiled meat: beef, tongue and cotechino accompanied by spinach, sautéed potatoes and apple mustard.

11/04/2025: A simple comment to those who think they ate shortly after consuming the tripe: there are certainly also appetizers and desserts, possibly; it's a choice. Portions must never be exaggerated, you must eat intelligently. Regarding the waiting time, I would add that those who know how to cook like me are not surprised. I end by saying that the restaurant is a place of conviviality, if we have conversation time passes. Personally, when I went to the Osteria del Campione I always had a good time.

12/02/2025: I recommend trying their cakes, you can't go wrong. Always maximum availability in satisfying requests, the sponge cake is delicious and always fresh. Also worth trying are the croissants and pastries!!
