Clean place, competent and qualified staff who always welcome you with a smile. Excellent and plentiful dishes. Super food quality! Excellent value for money. When I pass through these parts it is mandatory to stop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

After years I finally manage to book for Christmas, it's always full, given the positive reviews. Above all I appreciated the choice of the à la carte menu, it was what I was looking for. I'm not inclined to the various set menus that most restaurants offer. I was looking for an easy-going restaurant that focused more on the cuisine than on the rest. I must say that this restaurant reflects what I was looking for, the environment, even if small, could be improved, the service good and fast, the food excellent Maremma cuisine, fried foods very good, dry, well done, digestible. Tortelli with top ragù. I have to make a note on the meat: I didn't take the Florentine steak that most people chose, being alone I opted for a sliced ​​parmesan rocket which didn't satisfy me because it was quite stringy... it was definitely a coincidence , I haven't had a good piece of meat, but this is it. Furthermore, I have another point to make about the cold in the room, there was a draft coming through the entrance door and perhaps the room needed to be heated better. Overall positive, certainly even better in summer on the external veranda. It is a fairly remote place in the Maremma countryside but the view is spectacular. Advised!

On our way to the archaeological area of ​​Roselle, we took a short detour into the countryside east of Grosseto today for an impromptu New Year's Day lunch. Even though the place was completely booked, with a bit of good will on the part of the two guys who welcomed us, we managed to have a table on the entrance balcony, outdoors. The place is very simple, familiar but at the same time tidy and clean. We were able to taste an excellent appetizer based on donzelle and ham, followed by very generous first courses of homemade egg pasta and topped with an excellent wild boar ragout. Even the tomato soup on a bed of melted pecorino was beyond our expectations. Prices are very good, considering quality and portions. We'll be back.

I can't say I ate badly, it wouldn't be truthful: but it's a fact that the ragu for the tortelli was tasteless and the tortelli were plated without draining them. Reservations are recommended and this is right: but if a person calls twice in the space of a week for a lunch for 14 people, asking for two starters and two side dishes, it was not pleasant to hear the answer, at the time of lunch, that there were only 8 patties and the grilled vegetables were finished. Frankly, one would expect a little more attention, also because no one asked for a discount or preferential treatment, but only to have what they had agreed upon. I won't go back.

We stayed in November, certainly in the summer it makes it even better. The room is small and heated by an old pizza oven. The service was courteous and very fast. Abundant portions of pasta, excellent meat of various sizes, various side dishes with delicious mushrooms standing out. We will return in the summer to be able to eat outdoors.
