I had the opportunity to have lunch at this wonderful restaurant. Mrs. Carmela was super helpful and friendly. She accommodated every request. One of the diners was intolerant and was offered gluten-free pasta and bread. Highly recommended.

My family and I choose to have lunch at Ristoro dello Scoiattolo every time we go to Piano Battaglia (and it happens often): it's a must-try for me, with their exquisite wild boar ragù! I've also had the chance to try their other dishes, which I find all delicious. Once the beach season is over, the most classic way to spend the weekend for many of us is to treat ourselves to a restaurant/agriturismo just outside the city. Convinced by the enthusiasm of a friend of mine who had already been there, we chose this refuge, immersed in a unique setting. The place presents itself as a small, meticulously maintained mountain-style structure. The autumn colors in the background compel us to take a hundred photos before entering the warm and welcoming structure. A large fireplace creates a homey atmosphere... but the real gem is the menu, in line with the prices of this (segment). It's varied but not overwhelming. We chose the four-course menu including dessert, and to make the experience even more enjoyable, we chose different courses for each one, and we shared them because choosing would have been too difficult. In fact, this review doesn't include a ranking of the best dishes because I wouldn't be able to draw one up, but there wasn't a single dish that even remotely disappointed our expectations. If I really had to find a flaw, otherwise I'd sound like a friend advertising the place 😁. Both when they brought the appetizers and the main courses, they didn't automatically bring bread. In both cases, we asked for it several times before starting our tasting. This is a small detail that doesn't ruin a positive review and a truly exhilarating experience. Coffee, kindly provided by the very friendly and helpful owner, is a must-try. ❤️
