Beautiful location, surrounded by greenery where the Piano Battaglia ski slopes end, good local food and well presented, correct value for money, the basic menu leaves you satisfied. Thanks to Mrs. Nicoletta, at the tables, and to Mrs. Carmelina, who receives telephone reservations, for having fulfilled my little one's food wishes, a crispy cutlet with crispy baked potatoes, see you next time!

The Ristoro dello Scoiattolo in Piano Battaglia is an excellent point of reference for high-altitude catering, great compliments to the very friendly owners who offered us, in addition to excellent dishes, great hospitality, compliments also to the very attentive staff who "pampered" us.
I had lunch at the restaurant with my wife on a hot August day, choosing from the menu appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts, all absolutely delicious, enjoyed in a place which, for those like me, who love the mountains, is a treasure chest where nature shows all its its powerful beauty.
Would I recommend Il Ristoro dello Scoiattolo?
Absolutely yes.

Beautiful family day in a welcoming setting surrounded by nature. Excellent food and tasty recipes from the Madonie tradition. The first courses are very tasty and the meats tender. Attention to detail and kind, attentive and helpful staff. An experience absolutely worth repeating!!!

Siamo ritornati a mangiare con piacere dalla signora Anna che cucina una delle migliori Zuppe Valtellinense dell'intera Valle d'Aosta.
Cibo genuino, sapori decisi: ordinato un antipasto della casa che comprende affettati misti e selezioni di formaggi, Zuppe, polenta con salsiccia e melanzane grigliate non in menù ma a richiesta.
Tutto veramente buono.
