It was recommended to us by a local shopkeeper. We had a great meal, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable (they're usually more expensive here...Lake Iseo). The tortelli were fantastic, both the pumpkin ones (which I'm not particularly fond of) and the herb ones. The stew was also excellent, but if I were to return, I'd definitely order a second (or third) of the tortelli! Highly recommended.

A little place recommended by a passerby, a wonderful discovery!
The food was divine and the price was reasonable.
Pumpkin tortelli, gnocchi with ragù, and macaroni with stew, all homemade! Everything was spectacular! 100% recommended.
We ate outside; the seating was a little uncomfortable because we were on a slight slope, but the flavor of these wonderful dishes made up for it!
We'll definitely be back!

Restaurant right in the center, which could make you believe it is a decoy, but it is not. Recommended by the people of Mantua, we actually found ourselves very well. Both in the cuisine and in the service where the host with care and sympathy explains his traditional dishes. Satisfied with the quality and price ratio, we would gladly return.

Buoni i ravioli di zucca e buono lo stracotto con patate, anche la sbrisolona fatta in casa , tutto ben fatto, avrei dato 4 pallini, ma quando sono andata in bagno sono rimasta delusa dalla sporcizia e dalla trascuratezza ed il locale mi è scaduto molto. Personale giovane molto gentile. Prezzi buoni. Se il bagno è lo specchio del locale.....insomma....

Mantova sta diventando sempre più turistica ed i locali si stanno adeguando sia nelle proposte che nei prezzi. questo ristorante d'altri tempi, propone la cucina della tradizione, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, unendo la gentilezza di un servizio curato ed attento. ero indeciso se pubblicare questa recensione per timore che abbia troppo successo e perdere quell'anima che la contraddistingue. si mangia bene al leoncino, bravi
