A Sunday lunch with my boyfriend in a decidedly typical and welcoming environment! Excellent food, kind and smiling waiters. Super quality/price ratio👌🏼

If you like familiar and intimate environments, this restaurant is for you. Delicious traditional dishes and very fresh products. We tried pumpkin tortelli and agnoli with ragù, the sbrisolona with zabaglione and the trifle and we immediately booked for lunch the next day to try other dishes such as the tortelli with mascarpone and walnut cream and the spectacular stew. There are also tables outdoors, under a suggestive arch where the hanging sentences were carried out. Many compliments to pay to Loris, the owner, who made us feel at home, told us many details about the history of the place and recommended the best dishes to try. Mantua is very beautiful and we will certainly return to see it again and to eat at the Leoncino rosso again!

External table under the arch, placed directly on the river stone paving, with consequent precarious support (a simple removable platform would solve the problem), pleasant temperature, pleasant and affable host, minus the waiters. Ravioli with bitter herbs definitely good! The pike in sauce is also not bad. Correct prices.

It was a wonderful experience, very kind and welcoming staff, very good food. The Mantua stew with polenta is highly recommended. We ate outside and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Buoni i ravioli di zucca e buono lo stracotto con patate, anche la sbrisolona fatta in casa , tutto ben fatto, avrei dato 4 pallini, ma quando sono andata in bagno sono rimasta delusa dalla sporcizia e dalla trascuratezza ed il locale mi è scaduto molto. Personale giovane molto gentile. Prezzi buoni. Se il bagno è lo specchio del locale.....insomma....

We returned after a couple of years, the food and hospitality always perfect. Excellent agnoli in broth and guinea fowl! Recommended for those who want to stop in Mantua. I recommend booking!

Exquisite dinner with traditional dishes. We were advised in choosing the dishes, with an accurate description of the courses. Everything was delicious, we had two first courses, a second course and two cakes. Excellent quality - price ratio.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and very fast, for the environment however we were outside and it was cold but otherwise everything was very good

Mantova sta diventando sempre più turistica ed i locali si stanno adeguando sia nelle proposte che nei prezzi. questo ristorante d'altri tempi, propone la cucina della tradizione, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, unendo la gentilezza di un servizio curato ed attento. ero indeciso se pubblicare questa recensione per timore che abbia troppo successo e perdere quell'anima che la contraddistingue. si mangia bene al leoncino, bravi
