A typical Mantuan trattoria located in the historic center. My wife and I shared a mixed cheese platter accompanied by a superb mustard, a plate of riso alla pilota, and a plate of pasta stuffed with walnut sauce. We finished the meal with an excellent sbrisolona cake accompanied by passito wine. Everything was delicious...

Nice traditional food, great taste and fairly good price. In the photo we have pumpkin ravioli (they got amaretto and sweet mustard) and rabbit with olives.

A casual, traditional restaurant located in the city center. The owner at the counter was attentive, friendly, and willing to resolve a small issue that arose. Traditional dishes, well-presented and beautifully presented. Authentic flavors, showcasing the finest ingredients. Agnoli in brodo, sublime. Pumpkin tortelli, delicious. Braised beef with polenta and Mantuan bignolata (a type of bread stuffed with cream and raisins) complete the experience. Worth a detour and a stop. Reservations are essential.

The welcome was wonderful. Loris, the owner, made us feel at home and recommended typical Mantuan dishes. We had pumpkin tortelli, agnoli with ragù, and stew. Everything was delicious, including the homemade desserts. 100% recommended.

A typical Mantuan osteria, the atmosphere is informal and intimate, the staff attentive and friendly, and the dishes showcase Mantuan cuisine at affordable prices. Reservations are highly recommended. Dishes we've tried include: Mantuan rice, bitter ravioli, pumpkin ravioli, macaroni with stew, bigoli, stew with polenta, pike with polenta, guancialino... sbrisolona... and more. We think it's all excellent. It's our go-to lunch spot when we visit Mantua.

07/01/2026: Good local restaurant with typical dishes
27/12/2025: A little outside of Mantua, a must-visit for the delicious food. Everything is homemade. Each dish is carefully prepared and the flavors are authentic. We had a wonderful time, thanks also to Claudio's hospitality and friendliness. A very nice place. Overall, it's worth it, especially for the delicious food—which I'd say is excellent!—but also because you escape the chaos of the city.

28/12/2025: What can I say? I brought friends and my partner to taste the flavors of my tradition, and a year later they still ask me to eat there again. The manager and staff were very kind, they made us feel at home.
24/11/2025: A welcoming restaurant with excellent staff and a host who truly knows his job... you can see his passion and professionalism... excellent food... so compliments to the kitchen too... attentive service... well done everyone... a place you'll always want to return to.
