Delicious food and excellent service! Couldn’t recommend more! Carbonara was creamy and cheesy, best I’ve had in my life. I tried the Cacio e Pepe too and it was pretty good, although I have no benchmark to compare it to as it was my first. The seafood I tried was pretty decent, and a member of our group said the Seabass was incredible. The artichoke was a hit amongst some, and the bread was pretty perfect. We had a pistachio kind of cake for dessert which was devoured in minutes, along with a tiramisu. The service was incredible, with fun staff who go above and beyond for you. I highly recommend trying this place out!

Historic restaurant, of which I remember the historic owner of the 60s/80s, the legendary Goffredo. Unforgettable.

If you are in Rome and want to enjoy a real carbonara, Le Tavernelle is the place for you! In addition to the excellent cuisine, the restaurant boasts a historicity that makes it even more fascinating. Located in one of the most picturesque areas of the city, Le Tavernelle has a long tradition that has its roots in past decades, and is famous for having also been a place frequented by the great physicist Enrico Fermi. His passion for science and love for good food are reflected in the welcoming and familiar atmosphere of the restaurant. The carbonara, then, is an authentic masterpiece: creamy at the right point, with a perfect balance between the crunchy bacon and the intense flavor of the pecorino. A dish that fully represents the Roman tradition, absolutely not to be missed! The friendliness and friendliness of the waiters, always ready to make you smile with their attentive and genuine service, complete an experience that combines the goodness of the cuisine and the warm Roman hospitality, all in a corner rich in history. If you are looking for an experience that combines tradition, culture and excellent cuisine, Le Tavernelle is the ideal choice.

Ristorante da Pelliccione

17/04/2025: Everything was made senza glutine in a separate kitchen. There is a surcharge for each senza glutine piatto mentioned in the menu, a surcharge for bread and service as well. We were given half a roll of bread that was moist and spongy. We had the patate and pasta minestre that left something to be desired, but it was piping hot and edible. The ravioli con burro e salvia was tasty. It could have been cooked a little bit longer considering the raviolis were a little harder than al dente. The quaglie was super crispy and unfortunately a little dry as a result, but it was seasoned well. The sbrocialata was too sweet - maybe without chocolate and with fruits it would have been less sweet. Service was a little bit rough around the edges, but with a sense of humor. I wouldn't go back, but for a random unexpected meal after a quick search with my celiac friend, it was not bad.
16/04/2025: Best Roman Osteria in the Roman castles and surrounding areas, Impeccable service, everything perfect from starters to desserts! (Also perfect for celiacs - vegetarians and vegans)
