A few days in Florence, we don't have much opportunity to travel, but as soon as we visit Italy and many like me do. Trattoria in the center of Florence, communal seating on benches, fantastic meat with baked potatoes, curious but good waiters.

I gave five stars to everything in memory of my grandfather Gastone Mugnai, I am one of the grandchildren.....I have to say well done to everyone... I came to lunch at the restaurant.....but when my grandfather cooked steak... roast potatoes.... ribollita... pappa al pomodoro in our house they were dishes from another planet you licked your "whiskers" those flavors I have not felt them anymore!!! Anyway compliments to all the staff you know the things of other times are never forgotten!!! Bye grandpa Gastone!!!!

We had lunch there on June 10th, as a group of eight. We booked on the recommendation of our guide, María Blanco, and it was a great choice. We were very well looked after, Francesco was very friendly, and we ate, among other things, some delicious cannelloni stuffed with cheese and vegetables...and it was very well priced, coming in at around €20 per person.

Osteria Ristorante San Vivaldo

11/09/2025: Our first osteria in Tuscany. Very good food and a fresh house wine. I highly recommend the desserts, especially the homemade tiramisu.
07/09/2025: The restaurant opens at 1pm, we waited an hour because we arrived at 12 but it's 1.51pm and we're already out so the service is very fast and the dishes are really good, only the piece of pork was a little too fatty but that can happen, I gave the atmosphere 4 stars only because I suffer with my back and the chairs were too uncomfortable for me, but for the rest it's perfect, I highly recommend it
