I gave five stars to everything in memory of my grandfather Gastone Mugnai, I am one of the grandchildren.....I have to say well done to everyone... I came to lunch at the restaurant.....but when my grandfather cooked steak... roast potatoes.... ribollita... pappa al pomodoro in our house they were dishes from another planet you licked your "whiskers" those flavors I have not felt them anymore!!! Anyway compliments to all the staff you know the things of other times are never forgotten!!! Bye grandpa Gastone!!!!

We had lunch there on June 10th, as a group of eight. We booked on the recommendation of our guide, María Blanco, and it was a great choice. We were very well looked after, Francesco was very friendly, and we ate, among other things, some delicious cannelloni stuffed with cheese and vegetables...and it was very well priced, coming in at around €20 per person.

Recommended to me by a Florentine to taste the steak, I was satisfied. Small but pleasant place, not very touristy even if full mostly of tourists. Quality of the meat, excellent, side dishes 10, wine of their production not excellent but excellent especially if you do value for money. Highly recommended.

30/07/2025: The place is quite large on two floors, very noisy, but the food is really good. Mixed crostini are excellent, and the mixed grilled roast is also good, even if it's served on a skewer with little meat and a lot of bread (a shame). The service is average.
18/07/2025: Informal place but excellent value for money! Tuscan dishes but excellent.

17/07/2025: We discovered this restaurant two years ago and it was a great experience! From the reception, the service, and of course, the food!! Traditional, well-prepared, and very tasty!! On this trip to Florence, we went there twice, and we met up with dear people and the same warm welcome!!! It's definitely worth a visit!!
14/07/2025: Beautiful spot in a nice neighbourhood away from the noise and tourists. Mostly locals dining and the staff and food was all fantastic. One of the best meals of Florence
