The appetizers were delicious, except for the bruschetta, which wasn't made with traditional bread but with crackers. There were 8 of us for dinner, and the meat and side dishes were delicious. The desserts were both excellent and unremarkable. They could be better. The prices were excellent, as was the quality. We ate inside on the evening of November 1st, perhaps with tables too close together; demand is evidently high because the place was packed. Parking for at least 25 cars, with the rest along the street.

The ceriole were exceptional, the roast meat was good (perhaps a little overcooked), and the tiramisu was fantastic, highly recommended. The atmosphere was quite noisy.

Truly excellent!!
My boyfriend and I happened to pass by this trattoria. It looked absolutely beautiful from the outside! The super-nice waitress immediately told me about the off-menu options, including the guinea fowl, which I obviously tried, and it was truly delicious and juicy! The lamb was also excellent, crispy on the outside and incredibly flavorful on the inside. The price was more than reasonable for a lovely dinner.

Restaurant with beautiful interiors, although in the summer you usually sit outside, where there's plenty of space.
There are also several parking spaces, but they're far from enough. There's an unwritten rule there that you're allowed to park in front of other guests, as long as you move your car when you hear a shout from the entire restaurant so the other guest can get out. It's quite flattering ;-)
But you can always find a spot along the side of the road...and even if you park a little further away, you can have a little stroll to help you digest.
The service is friendly, nothing to complain about. Sometimes the cook even comes out and talks to the guests.
So, on August 20, 2025, about 45 people had reservations...but another 35-45 people spontaneously showed up without reservations, which put the chefs and waitresses to the test. So I don't blame anyone for the fact that the food took quite a while, which is unusual. It was a very nice gesture on the part of the chef to discuss this with the guests. And yet, as a team, they served the many guests very good food; and that's quite an achievement when you're under time pressure.
But now to the most important thing: the food :-)
This restaurant serves truly, truly good food...and at absolutely top prices.
The starter, a bit of everything, was only €12.00. And it was extremely delicious, especially the pâté (liver spread) and the supplì (fried rice croquettes). I was already quite full afterward.
After that came the pasta cacio e pepe: a dream...for just €8.00. Where else can you get something like that? Also truly delicious.
And the "grigliata mista," a mixed grill with scottadito, salsiccia, bistecca, and more: a dream.
This restaurant focuses primarily on good taste, as well as immersing yourself in Umbrian cuisine...no frills, delicious...and ridiculously affordable.
This restaurant is definitely recommended! This was probably my third or fourth visit. I'd go back anytime :-)

Authentic and plentiful food, but unfortunately, since it's in the countryside, there's a heavy hornet infestation that made dinner less enjoyable. I'll be back in the fall, eating inside to enjoy the excellent dishes in peace.

A trattoria with authentic flavors and quality products just outside the city, an old-fashioned establishment with a strong sense of authentic flavors. The pappardelle with white venison ragù is off-menu (not always available) but exceptional. Bay leaves and juniper berries are the highlight, just like my grandmother used to make them. The Terni-style Ciriole are a real treat. The pasta dishes are homemade, except for the bucatini and tortellini. Generous portions. The main courses are delicious and high-quality. Abundant side dishes are available. The house wine is genuine. Honorable mention goes to the zuppa inglese: homemade, fresh, and delicious. The waitress Maria is extremely kind and always available to accommodate guests' requests. Excellent prices. Ample parking. A must-try in Terni.
