Kind and helpful, they waited for us while we decided even if there were people, my wife and my daughter didn't want me to taste the little pieces of cavalo and the owner brought me a really good mini portion. If you are looking for typical Salento cuisine, this is a recommended place

Typical trattoria with Salento dishes. The pizza is excellent, the pieces of horse meat served in a puccia are really inviting. I also ate the steak, cooked as I wanted and very tender. The staff is professional and very very kind. Excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended

Salento restaurant located in the heart of Pisignano. Excellent fried foods and appetizers of vegetables typical of our countryside. The pieces of horse were served in a bowl covered with a bread crust that was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The homemade desserts are also very good. The only downside is that the place is small and the tables are very close to each other.

18/08/2024: Food was of great quality, traditional and the outdoors seating area was very cozy
16/08/2024: A restaurant which, unfortunately, seems to have moved far away from the original concept. They always offer traditional dishes and I confirm that the fresh pasta is made by Mrs. Iolanda. However, the prices for the portions and the products offered are ridiculous: 12 euros for a small plate of broad beans and chicory... 13 for the orecchiette, while a sad grilled meat without any side dish is sold for 15 euros. To eat to your satisfaction, consider 40 euros per person. All in all it seems to have become a tourist catcher...
