I expected the place to be better maintained. It has a lot of leaks in the walls. The exterior windows need painting. I found a glass with lipstick on it 😡 The staff were friendly and presentable. Being a seafood restaurant, I would have expected the place to be reasonable for the price.

Donato and his staff have always been a guarantee. The place is very welcoming, the service impeccable, the food... it's simply a sublime experience. Thank you for always making the lunches and dinners you enjoy at Donato's special.

Excellent seafood, but the meat dishes are also very good. Service is efficient, and the owner is friendly. The only drawback is limited parking (the square is a 5-minute walk away, if necessary). The old town is also very beautiful.

Order the tasting menu! My favorite – a little bit of everything. Incredibly delicious, other dishes also taste very good. Excellent value for money, as does the service. It's a joy to have such a place. A bit hidden away – but easy to find with Maps – a must-visit when in Monzambano.

I had a good time at the restaurant. It has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Convenient parking inside. Family-run, customer-focused. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back. It also has rooms for rent.

07/01/2026: Gorgeous place, delicious lunch with mostly locally sourced ingredients. Helpful, welcoming, and kind staff. Very varied and delicious appetizers, and the first and second courses were all very good. Unfortunately, I didn't stay, but next time I would, because it must be wonderful to wake up in a place like this! Highly recommended!
