I was here with my in-laws to celebrate a birthday. We ate divinely and the staff was very nice, welcoming and extremely helpful (we chatted for a long time not realizing the time, even though it was getting late and the other customers had left, they let us celebrate in peace). I ate excellent fettuccine with wild boar and truffle, top quality meat and a delicious homemade tiramisu. Very honest account. Among one thing and another we made friends with Paola and Angelo (the owners) and I can only recommend this small, welcoming pearl of Genazzano. I almost forgot...top house wine and ditto amaro. Highly recommended, worth the trip from Rome

La Vecchia Osteria is an absolute gem! We enjoyed the carbonara, tagliata di manzo, and the saltimbocca—all cooked to perfection and bursting with authentic Italian flavors. To top it all off, the cheesecake was divine, and the wine selection was simply outstanding. The cosy, warm atmosphere makes you feel like you’re dining with family, thanks to the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommend for a true Italian dining experience! ❤️

I'll start by saying that if I could have given 10 stars, I would have done so! We had dinner in this delightful restaurant last night together with my partner and from the moment we entered, we perceived this sensation of warmth and a family environment. We ordered appetizers and first courses (also under the advice and explanation of Mr. Angelo) and at just the first taste of the appetizer we decided that we would return the next day for lunch too! Here you eat like at grandma's house! Excellent quality of ingredients, everything cooked perfectly and the portions are super generous! The desserts are homemade and we ate both the tiramisu and the cheesecake and they were crazy! We repeated the experience today eating different things and this lunch also confirmed that this place deserves to be known by everyone! Thanks in particular to Angelo and Paola "the hosts". Genuine people who immediately put you at ease and who know how to convey their love for what they do both with food and with attention to the customer! I hugged Paola before leaving as if I had known her for years! Thanks for everything, we'll see you soon with our little girl too! Noemi and Renato.
