The new management, taken over by two young people, deserves to become the go-to place in Siena. They cook with respect for both tradition and the ingredients, always incredibly fresh, which they prepare with love. The dishes are few, but more than enough for a very satisfying selection. Both the two of them and the girls serving are kind and attentive. Everything is clean... including the bathrooms. A little gem: the basement tavern for large groups. Thanks guys. Marcello from Ostia

I was there recently. The restaurant recently changed management, but the menu features the same traditional local dishes. The owner and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, making this a truly authentic Sienese restaurant. The quality/price ratio is admirable; try it and believe it!

A beautiful experience. We enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and delicious dishes. I highly recommend Faraona and ossobuco. Everything was fine and I absolutely recommend it.

A perfect little trattoria just a few steps from the palazzo. Lots of options for vegetarian and meat eaters. The house wine was good. Friendly service. Only open a couple of months so give these guys a go! Kitchen is in the restaurant can watch your meal being cooked!

This isn't the first time we've eaten at this trattoria, and we'll continue to be happy to come because it's truly a place worth visiting. Whenever we want to eat traditional, well-made food, we come here. The atmosphere is simple and relaxed, creating the perfect atmosphere. The kitchen is open, so you can watch the entire process. The staff is friendly, professional, and always know how to recommend. The menu isn't overbearing, which makes the other dishes truly delicious. This time we had a Florentine steak and pici cacio e pepe; both were delicious, but the Florentine steak really won us over; it was high-quality and perfectly cooked. We'll definitely be back, see you next time!

Unfortunately, the dishes all taste the same... seasoned with the same sauce. Plus, they're incredibly salty... There's nothing I'd go back for. I'm giving it three stars because to give it one or two, you have to be a killer...

The first time we were in Siena we had lunch here, a Florentine-style steak that stayed in our memory. We returned, didn't have the steak, tried other dishes and confirmed the excellent impression. In the tourist heart of Siena, a cellar where Italian families sit down for lunch on Sundays: could there be a better compliment?

A hidden gem not far from the main square. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside you'll find lovely service, delicious food, and a neighborhood restaurant atmosphere... I loved it. The portions are generous and the service is quick. The cacio e pepe pico was amazing! 👌🤤

24/11/2025: I have to thank my friend who insisted on bringing me here, because, I confess, I was completely unaware of the existence of this little gem. It was my first time there, but the impact was immediate: there's a family atmosphere, genuine and unfiltered. The welcome was warm, the kind that immediately puts you at ease (kudos to the genuine smile). The cuisine was a wonderful surprise in terms of variety and execution. We explored a bit: the pizza is good, but it's the main dishes that really stand out, especially the rosemary and pink pepper steak, truly tender and flavorful. The attention to detail in the drinks is also noteworthy. Wait times can vary, but in such a pleasant setting, they don't bother me. An honest and heartfelt place, happy to have discovered it.

04/01/2026: Good food, reasonable prices, welcoming and very kind staff!
04/01/2026: We ate lunch and waited about forty minutes (the owner told us to come back, so we did, and a table was available). The service was quick, the pecorino cheese in the cacio e pepe pici was a bit torn, but the flavor was good. The spleen livers were excellent. The coffee was decent, and the price was in keeping with the location. See you soon!
