A small trattoria with an authentic flavor, perfect for those seeking authentic Tuscan cuisine. Typical, homemade dishes, prepared with great care and using quality ingredients. We had lunch as a family with two small girls and were welcomed with warmth and attention: the staff was extremely kind and attentive, even with the little girls. A simple yet atmospheric place, where tradition and hospitality reign supreme. Highly recommended!

If you like to be slightly out of the hustle and bustle but still enjoy some authentic local cuisine, then Trattoria la Torre is a fine choice. On a side street off of the main plaza, its shady, street side tables offer some relief from the summer heat. We chose the gnocchi and local Pica pasta, both served with a wild boar sauce and they were delicious. The service was great and we chatted with the waiter about his experience of being a Budist monk! Amazing. Highly recommend!

Typical Tuscan trattoria in Siena, family-run since 1943 (I hope I didn't get the year wrong) located in a small alley behind the Torre del Mangia and a stone's throw from Piazza del Campo. Small but functional place, home-made food, discreet but made with passion. Friendly owner even if sometimes he gets a bit lost and the orders arrive a bit late. All in all a positive experience! Honest prices

A very memorable and traditional trattoria. Rubel and the team are so welcoming and attentive and the food is prepared beautifully. We ordered the mouthwatering tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, roast pork, veal and the best side of peas we’ve tasted in a long time. We loved it so much that we revisited the next evening and ordered the tagliatelle with venison, peas, spinach and finished with an excellent tiramisu. I highly recommend this trattoria for an authentic and memorable dining experience

The best ragù pasta experience we’ve had on our trip to Italy so far. The wine paired perfectly with the food, adding to an already memorable meal. The customer service was excellent, and I especially loved that we were the only tourists there at lunch – it felt authentic and special to be dining among local customers. Well priced also.

La Trattoria La Torre è una certezza a Siena. La frequentavo quando ero una studentessa universitaria, vi sono tornata anni addietro e in occasione di questo ponte del 25 Aprile. Il locale ha pochi coperti, quindi per essere sicuri di trovare posto a sedere, meglio prenotare. La tradizione è rimasta intatta negli anni, e ne sono passati più di 25 dai tempi dell'università: i pici al ragù (sia di cervo che di cinghiale) sono eccezionali. Consiglio di provare!

Io ed il mio amico, andati in riposo lavorativo insieme, abbiamo pensato di fare una cena unica che ci ha permesso di poter avere la compagnia di più persone. Siamo stati benissimo. Ci ritornerò presto.

08/08/2025: We had a very good dinner. We shared a table with another couple. Very well served and very good meat. Very reasonable price.
07/08/2025: We dropped by for lunch while on a day trip to Sienna. We tried to make reservations by phone a few days before our visit but no one ever picked up. Fortunately, we got there right at open and got a table. The beef carpaccio dish was raw slices of fresh beef with what appeared to be some fragrant red peppercorns. I enjoyed it with the addition of the tableside salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Although I enjoyed it, it was served in a very minimalist state and I would not recommend it to anyone who doesn't like blue rare steak. The pici was good and seemed to be homemade since it had more texture and a somewhat healthier grain-forward flavor. The tripe was also very soft, savory, and quite neutral. If you don't like offal (organ meat), this dish would actually be a good introduction to it!

21/07/2025: 7 of us arrived at lunch and they were able to accommodate us at an outside table. Nice menu with good options plus knowledgeable help with wines. We all found something we wanted and service was efficient but not rushed. Quiet setting on small side street near one of city gates. Good recommendation from our city walk guide.
20/07/2025: A quaint and welcoming place. Young and very knowledgeable staff. Typical local dishes, very well prepared. Perfectly cooked meat! Excellent first courses. High-quality ingredients. We were surprised by the truly amazing wild organic olive oil...we bought two bottles, even though the price is high, it's worth every penny! I would go back.
