Il pensiero piu' bello che si ha dopo aver mangiato (bene) e' per Rubel, ragazzo di 32 anni del bangladesch che gestisce sapientemente il ristorante per conto di un gruppo toscano (con cuoco Alessandro,quindi, italiano...): ragazzo intelligente, attento, cortese e corretto che fa gli interessi di chi lo paga come e' raro trovare : bravo lui e bravo chi si affida a lui.
Si mangia bene e si spende circa 30€ che per essere dietro piazza del campo e' un prezzo da saldo in rapporto alla qualita'.
Ossobuco superstar.
Si tornera',per Rubel e per il cibo.

The best ossobuco i had in tuscany. It was not too salty meat was super tender fits really well with the spinach which was highly recommended by the service. He was super friendly and very attentive to us . The tiramisu was very special it was the best i ever had. Can you maybe message me for the recipe?😉If i ever go back to Siena i will come back here again.

Six days in Rome and Siena. We tend to follow Rick Steves recommendations. Last night we went to Trattoria Palau. It was delightful. So much fun with a pack loud but fun atmosphere . We had the best pasta so far on our trip and a wonderful 1kg Florentine steak. Of course they finished with lemoncello. It was 86 well spent euro’s.
Tonight we went to Tattoria La Torre at 8 o’clock. There was one other lady finishing up.
Our server was very nice. We order the antipasto which was cut in front of us. A good start. But that was the highlight. The pasta was absolutely mediocre.
The owner and woman in the kitchen looked bored. We were now the only dinners and we felt like we were in their way.
The bill came and it was 75 euros.
This was a ripoff. The owner mumbled a greeting to us as we were leaving. As we left at 9:30 there were still no other more obviously more astute customers.

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo...eravamo un gruppo di 6 persone (2 adulti e 4 bambini). Tutto davvero ottimo, dall'antipasto toscano ai pici al ragù di cervo, fino al girarrosto di volatili (piccione, anatra, faraona). Locale molto rustico ma ben tenuto. Cucina a vista. Il proprietario è davvero gentile e cordiale. Prezzi nella norma per essere praticamente in piazza del Campo a Siena.

Very friendly service. The food is real Italian home cooking. Honest, freshly prepared in the small, visible kitchen. The cook & landlady (a Ukrainian who has been cooking in this company for 20 years) has internalized the cucina italiana casalingua. Honest, calm, traditional recipes without any sophistication, but really good. The house wine and the sausages as well. Good quality for decades, without much innovation. We like that... Because honestly. Priced ok according to the location of the business.

Great concept with an open kitchen and daily changing dishes. Very attentive service and super delicious food. Absolute recommendation for Siena.
Price-performance: 50.00 euros for 2x cacio e pepe, 2x tiramisu, 0.5 liters of white wine and a bottle of water. There were two espressos on the house.
