Trattoria La Lucciola In Calamonaci

A family-run trattoria serving traditional Sicilian cuisine: caponata, sausage, tripe, tagliatelle with ragù.... Everything was delicious. We ate there two nights in a row. Recommended.

Tried it by chance, but it was a wonderful discovery. The service is attentive and eager to accommodate requests, and the owner takes the time to chat with each table, never being invasive, but creating a family-friendly atmosphere. The cuisine is homey, with good-quality ingredients and generous portions (but we're in the South 😉). I went two days in a row to try multiple dishes. Special mention goes to the caponata and wild boar ragu.

We were welcomed by a fantastic atmosphere and staff, very attentive to our needs regarding various food intolerances... our personalized menu was top notch!

This is my second visit to this trattoria, and I can confirm that La Lucciola is a real find in the center of Sciacca. I ordered the fixed meat menu, and I have to say it was all excellent. The dishes were tasty, the portions were generous, and above all, the price was fair, something that is becoming increasingly rare. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, and the owners are incredibly kind and make you feel at ease right away. A bonus is that they accept dogs and are very attentive to them, too, a detail that really makes all the difference for me. Finally, in the center of Sciacca, there's a trattoria that offers a good fixed meat menu as an alternative to the usual fish. Highly recommended!

Services exceptional. The wine is excellent. The prices are unbeatable. The food it's probably the most authentic Sicilian food you will find. is the first time I have seen pasta with Fungi porcini and pistachios. It is rare that I find good stake outside of the United States. This guy cook a mean steak.

The only true trattoria in the area where you can eat typical Sicilian dishes in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This is simply honest Italian cuisine, as you would expect. And we're actually quite picky. A delight! Even the house wine is very drinkable (although the red was served much too cold—no problem considering the good food and the friendly service). Only the lighting isn't particularly romantic 😉. But all in all: highly recommended!

The best restaurant I've ever tried in Sciacca! Recommended by our hotel receptionist, we went to dinner at this restaurant. I must say it was a truly pleasant experience! The welcome was impeccable; they took care of us from the moment we walked in. The attention to detail and customer needs was impressive; they made us feel right at home. Rosa and Domenico are the perfect hosts; you can feel the love they put into everything. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, perfect for an evening with friends or family. Excellent dishes, with attention to every detail, and above all, very attentive to the quality of their offerings. And the price? Very fair! Truly excellent value. If you call in advance, they can prepare vegetarian options. They made me an excellent eggplant parmigiana; I was very impressed with their attention to customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant! If I ever return to Sciacca, I will definitely be back!
