Passing through Tolfa, I booked by chance at this family-run restaurant and it was a pleasant discovery. Rustic and welcoming place, the service was perfect and fast, the menu with typical local dishes. We ordered an appetizer of cutting board and bruschetta that we divided in two, good and tasty first courses well cooked and fresh homemade pasta called Busiate both with tomato sauce with sausage and mushrooms and with artichokes and crispy bacon with a nice sprinkling of pecorino. We went straight to the dessert, an excellent semifreddo amaretto with chocolate chips accompanied by a good coffee and a black cherry liqueur. Honest prices and menu outside. To try.

Traditional cuisine with abundant and seasoned dishes. The cold cuts plate is very good, although the less refined cheeses are less so. The guinea fowl is also good. Fast and kind service. Low prices

I ate at the Loggia on Saturday 28 March.
I call at 2pm to book a table, it's definitely late but in a few seconds they confirm that I can go for lunch, eliminating an obvious difficulty.
Two excellent and well presented first courses
Fettuccine with red wild boar ragù and strozzapreti with white donkey ragù (never tasted it)
They describe the dishes with competence and passion, meeting my curiosity.
Wine, water and a dessert to finish.

The trattoria of the heart, even for decades of memories of family lunches and dinners.... returning there a few years later could be dangerous. The surprise was actually excellent, as was the food (and the bill) excellent, seasoned with hospitality, courtesy and lots of smiles! We really appreciated the Fornara and the Rabbit with very fresh wild chicory sautéed (with home-made oil). A truly great opportunity!!

Non conoscevo Tolfa. Breve visita e pranzo improvvisato.
Mi accomodo in questa trattoria. Due piccole sale. Molto basico ma è quello che mi piace di questi posti.
Prendo un antipasto (Buonissimo!) della casa. Acqua un quartino di vino rosso e un primo. Gnocchetti con carciofi e guanciale buoni ma non eccelsi. La proprietaria molto cortese e paziente.
Prezzi ottimi.
€ 20 compreso il caffè.

We went to this restaurant for lunch. We each had a good house starter, a pumpkin lasagna, two half paccheri with red wild boar, a polenta with mushrooms and two cannelloni. Good and abundant portions, especially of pepper, and then we moved directly to the very good desserts, a tart, a panna cotta and two with amaretti and chocolate. Two waters, a coke and three coffees. Kind staff. The service was fast. The environment was small, our table was in the rumpus room. It was not possible to talk to each other and we had difficulty understanding the menu verbally, due to the loud shouting of the people, more or less rude, who shouted rather than spoke. The bill is more expensive than last year. We had a good time but there is definitely better in the area.

Locale intimo con 3 salette separate. Menu che cambia a seconda dei prodotti di stagione. Abbiamo preso 2 fettuccine con ragù d’asino in bianco, un gnocchetti al pomodoro, una carne di maiale (loro specialità di cui non ricordo il nome) morbidissima condita con patate e funghi e una porzione di cinghiale in umido. Tutto ottimo, porzioni abbondanti, personale super gentile e professionale. Conto sui 60€! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da ritornarci
