We went to this restaurant for lunch. We each had a good house starter, a pumpkin lasagna, two half paccheri with red wild boar, a polenta with mushrooms and two cannelloni. Good and abundant portions, especially of pepper, and then we moved directly to the very good desserts, a tart, a panna cotta and two with amaretti and chocolate. Two waters, a coke and three coffees. Kind staff. The service was fast. The environment was small, our table was in the rumpus room. It was not possible to talk to each other and we had difficulty understanding the menu verbally, due to the loud shouting of the people, more or less rude, who shouted rather than spoke. The bill is more expensive than last year. We had a good time but there is definitely better in the area.

Locale intimo con 3 salette separate. Menu che cambia a seconda dei prodotti di stagione. Abbiamo preso 2 fettuccine con ragù d’asino in bianco, un gnocchetti al pomodoro, una carne di maiale (loro specialità di cui non ricordo il nome) morbidissima condita con patate e funghi e una porzione di cinghiale in umido. Tutto ottimo, porzioni abbondanti, personale super gentile e professionale. Conto sui 60€! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da ritornarci

Characteristic environment of a very charming village perched in the mountains. Good food for those who like meat, good starters and starters, good and soft guinea fowl, perhaps not cooked exactly the way I like it. Nice and kind staff. Hygiene very good.

Probabilmente il ristorante più rustico e spartano della zona, non sembra menano di essere in un ristorante, ma a casa di qualcuno.
Il cibo rispecchia la location e la tradizione della zona con la particolarità che a volte potete trovare piatti a base di carne di asino. L’antipasto vario ed abbondante. Visto il periodo ne ho approfittato per mangiare una buona zuppa di funghi locali. Servizio ruspante e prezzi contenuti.

I was there for lunch, the place is very characteristic and don't expect to find a luxury place. The servings are really generous and I found the food very good. I was satisfied with a nice steak accompanied by a plate of pan-fried vegetables, a quart of house red wine, a liter of water and coffee for the modest sum of €26. I saw the dish they brought to a another diner, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, was truly plentiful. Parking in the area is subject to a fee based on parking hours. If you want a quaint, no-frills place where you can eat well, this is for you.

We had a starter for two and I must say that it was sufficiently rich. And 2 first courses, one tagliolini with porcini mushrooms (good) and the other wild boar ragù (very good) much appreciated. Definitely recommended

We went for lunch 2 weeks ago, we booked 1 hour before our arrival and we had no difficulty finding a seat, a positive note. Good bruschetta, gnocchi too, steak a little less so, we had asked if there were potatoes, either baked or fried, to accompany them with the steak, but there was only ash, boiled potatoes. A la carte menu not available, unfortunately, the menu was listed to us verbally.
Family run, fast service.

Tolfa is very pretty to look at and the restaurant is family friendly and has a nice open kitchen. I found it clean and friendly, I ate well, I recommend it
