Una osteria a tutti gli effetti. Piatti della tradizione piemontese serviti in maniera gentile e premurosa. Buona scelta di antipasti, primi e secondi. Ottimi i dolci fatti in casa. Da ripetere

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and I must say that we were amazed, the quality of the food was excellent, and when the ingredients are of good quality they make the difference! impeccable service and very good prices (we happened to spend the same amount for pizza and beer). We will be back again, and I highly recommend booking. Once again, applause for the managers.

Super family Sunday lunch. Typical dishes of the area told, prepared and presented with care and passion. All very good. Well stocked with wines in half-liter bottles. Advised.

quando tutti i ns. riferimenti hanno ormai chiuso i battenti per l’arrivo della stagione più rigida, sul curvone adiacente il Tanaro, a 6 minuti superata Ormea in direzione del mare si trova questa piccola trattoria che conserva ancora i tratti storici. Pochi tavoli, con una ventina massimo di posti a sedere. Trovi ancora alcuni piatti della tradizione locale come la trippa in Zemin o le lasagnette di Ormea (annoverate fra i “piatti bianchi”): buone, maltagliati pizzicati per farli rimanere un po’ più “croccanti” (al dente) con Raschera, peccato per la panna. Pappardelle di castagne con ragù di cinghiale: buone ma le porzioni sono risicate. Come secondo: coniglio alla ligure con patate e carote: buono. Dolci: semifreddo di zabaglione: buono e “scorze”: quattro piccole scorze d’arancia candite e ricoperte di cioccolato (industriali). una bottiglia di acqua gasata per un totale di 72 €… decisamente caro per una Trattoria e la misura delle porzioni.

I came to this restaurant because it was recommended by a friend. Characteristic mountain place between Liguria and Piedmont. The owners welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. All very good. I highly recommend it. Definitely a must-see.
