Interesting place where you can try Roman cuisine. We had two carbonaras, a cacio e pepe, and an amatriciana, plus tripe and oxtail stew. For main courses, they even brought us plates to share. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The price was average. I recommend trying it.

I had lunch today with my partner. We ate for two, sharing a complete menu with appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, 2 sorbets, water and a half of red wine. With a menu we ate abundantly for two and I must emphasize, in addition to the pleasantly surprising quantity and that I strongly recommend to maintain because it is rare these days, the excellent quality of the raw material. Fast and courteous service.

Excellent choice for a business lunch, given the level I will also try in the evening. Too bad there is no parking and you must therefore leave the car on the side street or in front crossing a fairly busy road.

In my travels to Rome, only there in various traditional restaurants could I delight in Roman specialties, I heard positive things about the trattoria La Cisterna which serves traditional Roman cuisine, and I decided to go and try it. I was very satisfied and surprised and chose the fixed menu; pappardelle with oxtail, wonderful!!!! Fried lamb, wonderful!!!! Chicory, garlic and chilli pepper side dish, delicious!!!
In conclusion, everything was very plentiful and delicious.
