The restaurant is located in the Piani di Praglia area, near the border with Piedmont. It is the ideal meeting place for motorcyclists who travel the road during the Sunday tour or for hikers who can use it as a starting or finishing point for treks that wind along the paths that run along the Gorzente lakes, but also the surrounding meadows and mountains. Having a large room with about 150 seats, it can also be chosen as a place to hold lunches for ceremonies.
We are located at about 900 meters above sea level and both the interior and the room itself have a typical appearance of the places that can be found in the mountains; the sloping roof with exposed wooden beams reinforces the idea. Although there is heating with radiators on the walls, the fireplace/stove in the center of the room with double exposure visible on both sides, helps to keep the room warm if the temperature is very low or even if there is snow, as evidenced by the many photos hanging on the walls.
If the restaurant was full, as it was in our case (2 ceremonies at the same time), the voices of the people would be loud, but not so loud as to prevent conversation with the other people at the table. In addition, even in such an intense situation, the service was always quick, precise and without hitches, never giving us the impression of being considered second-rate compared to the enormous tables that surrounded us.
We were able to taste various dishes, both first courses and second courses and desserts, finding them all good, with a pleasant and inviting aroma. The ingredients were certainly fresh and top quality.

Just returned from Easter lunch
In a cabin with fireplace and wooden beamed ceiling, the chef Gianluca and his staff offered a 6-course lunch with an excellent quality/price ratio.
Homemade ravioli and pesto
Light dishes and waiters always available
I highly recommend going there

Delicious polenta with mushrooms and delicious fried mushrooms. Saturday 12th, I ate delicious wild boar ravioli, mixed fried meat and top-notch strudel. I ate on Monday 8 August 2022 with 100 cum laude, both food and drink. Ate on Friday 28 July 2023 with 200 cum laude Diego.

I haven't been here for a few years, I think the management has changed. I would say the quality of the food has improved, great service, medium-expensive price. Only note... It was really cold!
