Trattoria La Carabaccia In Firenze

My daughter and I had dinner at Carabaccia on Friday, October 31st. We booked this restaurant through The Fork and chose it because it was close to our hotel. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, we had a wonderful dinner, and we got the price right. We were so impressed that we returned the following evening and had a wonderful dinner. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. Highly recommended.

Worse experience than expected. There were three of us, dinner time was 8:30 p.m. It was a simple order (three pizzas); for whatever reason, the order got "lost," and we weren't served until 9:45 p.m. Despite eye contact, they didn't care, seeing that we were out of pizzas on the table. The food. It was delicious, but judging by the reviews, I expected more. The dough was tasty, but something was missing. I recommend the 3-tomato pizza, which did have a "different" flavor. I can't say I would return because I was in the city for several days and avoided this establishment. I was quite displeased with the service, seeing how other customers who had arrived later and were in similar groups were still getting their orders. Above all, I was displeased that despite trying to notify us, there was no way to expedite the order.

We dined there several times during our stay, a menu of Tuscan dishes, pizzas and delicious Italian specialties. A restaurant also frequented by regulars. A very pleasant and smiling welcome. Thank you to the entire team for the quality of the service and the delicious dishes.

What a great find pasta pizza and nice wine list staff very friendly we will come back

After a long day we wanted to eat where the locals eat. Dinner is very important to the Italians and it starts at 7pm. We squeaked in with out a reservation because we arrived early, as they opened. Beautiful place, the service was great, and the food was amazing. We only ate a single course, but they offer an entire menu for any Italian food craving tourists or local. The place filled with locals by the we finished our meal.

Excellent service!! The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The place was quiet. I would definitely go back.

Un sitio muy recomendable, tanto por la calidad del producto como la amabilidad de los camareros. Nos encantaron lo spagettis con alcachofas, con ternera, los tortellinis con toque de naranja y los cocolis. Todo bien regado con un chardonnay italiano.
