Historic trattoria with home-made food, high prices for a trattoria, but the fresh food doesn't make you feel bad.

Ate very well... orecchiette with turnip tops fantastic... horse steak and grilled gnummaredddhi with mashed broad beans fantastic... much better than our mashed potatoes... well done 👏

I was here for dinner with some colleagues, and I was quite satisfied: - The food is high-quality, delicious, and locally sourced. - The service was prompt. - There's plenty of space between the tables; I mean, the restaurant is quite large and genuinely comfortable. In my opinion, the value for money deserves 5 stars.

This is one of those places I always recommend when I have guests. Five stars not only because Grandma Iolanda is still working in the kitchen, but above all because it's a place that embodies the essence of a Salento trattoria. When you walk in, it's like being at grandma's house. The dishes are special and the flavors are unique, made according to tradition and with locally sourced ingredients, because everything—and I mean everything—is raised and grown by them. The nice thing is that they also offer half-course meals, so you can try more. The wines are excellent and the prices are absolutely reasonable. If I were the owner, I'd raise them 😂 that said, book ahead, because it's always busy, and try the mixed pittule, the sagne with horse meat sauce, and the chocolate salami. I've eaten there countless times, and the pleasant memories have never faded.

If you like to eat traditional Apulian products, this is the right place... I spent a wonderful evening eating delicious Apulian dishes, the service was adequate and the price was reasonable. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Welcoming atmosphere, excellent traditional cuisine, and extremely kind staff. Today we went to this trattoria where I used to come as a child with my parents. And just like then, I brought my children and my in-laws for an end-of-season dinner. I accidentally spilled the bottle of water on my plate, and unfortunately it broke. The very kind owner had me return what I had ordered. We'll definitely see each other again at Christmas.

Very good and traditional food. Found a piece of cavallo on the vegetarian dish though.
